I love medallion quilts and this one is beautiful! I made the Coastal Summer quilt using Peachy Keen fabric and it is one of my favorite quilts. While I am very disappointed the Summer Slice QAL did not happen I am happy to see this quilt.

Love this design. I really like using Fat Quarter Shop’s papers and this really lends itself to using them. You should chat with them on partnering on a QAL.

You don’t need to be able to explain all of your design decisions. You don’t like hearts to touch - that’s fine. You wanted low volume behind the green gingham in the corners - interesting. No weirdness or crazy, just a good design flow. Frankly, it all adds up to charming.
