As for stuttering. I went to school with and was friends with a boy who had a stutter and was picked on for it. One of the first things I told him was to not worry about it; Just let it happen if it happens, there is no need to stress out about it. We're not in a rush. I think what I said made a difference to him, cause he stuttered significantly less around me than other people. Is it like that for you, if you don't mind me asking? Do you stutter less with people you know well and are comfortable around?

My son has turrets. He has a mild case, just a throat clearing tick. It used to drive me and his step mom crazy. Mind you we did not know at the time. I did have a boss that had a more severe form but at the time I had very little information about turrets. Then we took him to the University of Michigan and he got his diagnosis.
