She, and many others, didn't play games, didn't study or work for game developent, they just go to the studio, tell people what they should do, and if they don't do it the way they wanted, they cancel you in social media. It's "politically correct" because politics is a soft (not real) science, hence there is no such thing as an actually correct opinion in politics. It's all just opinion, imaginary, it's like religion but with the state/system/group identity serving as the deity. Yup! Also, Starcraft 2 has pretty much all white characters for their units. Yet nobody cares about that (and it also makes sense as it is pretty much rural America in space). The only diversity that was added was to the Starcraft Broodwars remake that had better graphics yet the Siege Tank dude and Science Vessel Guy suddenly had a darker skincolor. However, if you select the Carbotanimations Cartoon version you can see that both of them are white XD So even if they got "some" of the Starcraft content with their ESG nonsense, it is fortunately very minimal. I still play starcraft 2 btw, the Co-op games are still a ton of fun! :)

She fleetingly mentioned Alec supposedly trying to hug and or kiss her in situation from years prior (with NO MENTION of it EVER until then), IN A DISCUSSION ABOUT A DIFFERENT GAME DEVELOPER (music designer to be exact). SHE THREW AN ACCUSATION FOR FRIGGING BROWNIE POINTS IN A TWITTER DISCUSSION. Alec was found by his sister dead the next morning studio cancelled his next project with no proof other than her words. His sister asked players to not go after zoe as "she was friend of alec" and "he would not want it". Back then i'd agree with her. I didnt know she was harassing him, too. But their goal is specifically to help minorities because the assumption is that being a minority therefore means you haven't had fair resources. It's a good argument that having more minorities in the industry might result in more culturally diverse products but that diversity of culture is about more than skin colour and isn't what they're aiming for. And a "it might" is not a good enough reason for implementing structural racism. If you wanted to further cultural diversity in creative products, offer grants & support for studios creating games that add to diversity, dont just look to give more opportunities to people based on skin colour because you make assumptions about their life based on their race. Instead of saying "we want a black person and a trans person in this studio because they will make more culturally diverse games", say "there's a lack of African-themed games in the marketplace, we will support a studio creating a Wakanda forever game"

Canadian here (also a nurse). So things do vary from province to province - but most likely both users are telling the truth. Essentially Canadians do still have a relatively sound system with respect to urgent (physical) needs. If you break your leg or develop acute appendicitis, it will generally be addressed quickly enough that consequences are minimal. Things tend to get sketchier with respect to primary care and sort of intermediate needs - many Canadians cannot find a family doctor ( this is pretty easy to google). Personally been on and off “the list” multiple time since moving to Nova Scotia as doctors (understandably) don’t want to stay in this province as it one of the lower paying for GPs. Different provinces have shortages to different degrees, but as far as I know all of the provinces are recruiting. The other thing that is suffering is intermediate needs - so things that are not immediately life threading, but are super important for quality of life - for example hip replacements, knee replacements, weight loss surgery, as well as most mental health treatment. The wait list for these things is exceedingly long, spanning years in some areas. I would say the current unofficial motto is “but did you die?”.

The biggest annoyance with playing GOW Ragnorok and Spiderman 2 (after putting the pieces together) the worst parts about those games were definitely forced in there. The paintspraying mission on SM2, the Atreus parts with that girl. Boring as sh*t gameplay.

I also think Freya wasn't supposed to be on the side of the good guy or at least so easily but I think they couldn't have women as an Antagonist. The same reason why Sif flips side so quickly. And I have a feeling the daughter of Thor getting his Hammer instead of Kratos might also be a part of this.
