This week we brought out the old train set again. Every once in a while I give it a chance. The boys attention span is rather short and there are so many pieces. This time it lasted about 45 minutes which I think is a new record. Solomon even seemed to be helping to build the train city with much more awareness of what was trying to be accomplished.
Solomon still also enjoys riding on his firetruck, and playing with his bunny and lamb, making nests for them to cuddle in.
Did you notice him talking about his cheerios that fell down? He has quite the vocabulary, though not always discernable as proper English, he knows exactly what he means and reliably uses "his words". Neckers for necklace. "Carry me" can either mean he wants to be held, or just wants to hold hands as we walk.
Izziah has still been a regular playmate for Solomon, sometimes needing reminding that Solomon is still a baby and needs to be treated gently, though both boys tend to get quite rambunctious.
Judea, while affectionate toward Solomon most of the time, tends to prefer solitary play in general. He has been enjoying his legos of late.
So fascinating to watch their minds and unique personalities grow and develop. God is truly an amazing creator.
