Try playing the note that you are bending too then play the bend to previous note you just played. That's how I learned this one E flat tuning helps a bunch. IDK why he didn't spend 5 minutes to tune down.

Slash actually plays the entire song half a step down on all strings. So you were sharp on the solo parts. Anywho, great video dude, onto #5! Btw, I started learning this Sunday, and now it's Wednesday. And I'm onto number 5, you've helped me learn this awesome song in less than a week dude. Andrew Schiavo Hey Andrew, glad you are enjoying the videos. I do mention that I am teaching the song in standard instead of a half step down multiple times throughout the video series. I did it so people who have floyd rose trem systems in standard can still follow the lesson. The idea is to be able to follow along with the lessons in standard tuning which most guitarists tune to. Then if you want to play along with the original recording simply tune your guitar down a half step. Everything would still be played the same though.

For slash's songs overall, you're gonna want to start searching for humbucker pickups. Heavier tone they provide is gonna help you get as accurate as possible when it comes to imitating slash's tone. P.S, get les paul, or sg models. Hope I helped you out mate! ❤️💪🏻

Great lessons, I am able to learn very quickly watching your videos. But, after learning these two solos and then listening to the song, where does the second solo come from? Its not in the song I just listened to, there is the first short one, but the other one is not there, rather a much longer and very different solo is being played the second time through. Is this an unplugged version you taught in this video or something? I was pretty excited to play the song only to find out I dont know it

I think the best for your memorization and overall guitar knowledge would be to simply follow along with the video and TAB it as you go, at least for the sections you have trouble memorizing.. this will help you learn the music faster in the long run and much better than if someone simply handed you the TAB 👍

man is bending guitar strings really that easy cause in my guitar it takes strength of a thousand men to bend one fucking string. WTF!! WHY IS IT SOO HARD?

+Mozel Chowdhurry dude it can be for multiple reasons.. 1. the one that our friend Scarry2506 mentioned , the gauge of guitar strings . the lighter and thinner the gauge , the easier it is to bend but also lighter strings mean lower durability and less meatier and powerful sound . 2. try adjusting your tross rod inside the neck of ur electric guitar.it's a U form piece of metal which its job is to create force in the opposite or the same way of the guitar strings that are forcing the neck to bend a little..adjusting this tross rod can help u to decrease or increase the action of ur guitar which van result into easier or harder bends lower action can help u play faster but makes it a little harder to bend but higher action is vice versa keep these 2 tips in ur mind and give'em a try . it would help oh and try to bend in the proper way..use your st 2nd and 3rd finger ( never the pinkie ) to bend a particular note . try to get the full grip on the neck like ur tryin' to choke it .. and most importantly tilt ur wrsit a little and give it a slight angle and when u wanna bend the string , straighten that angle and tilt ur wrist back in its position ..in this way you use the force of your wrist to bend instead of ur fingers which may be weaker than a bigger joint as wrist..this would also be helpful for releases.. that's all the help i could give u .. hope it makes it easier for u and the other thousand men who were by your side throughout this whole bending process :))
