The wider holes in the US rolls for some reason seem to give me the placebo effect in that the music seems to sound a lot chunkier, I like chunkier with these Lee Sims rolls!

It's not just a placebo effect! Sometimes I like to count how many measures in a row he goes with zero syncopation...

@@rowanbelt3612 Yeah it's not only that of course xD But the visuals do make the US rolls seem a lot more clunky than the thin holed Duo-Art and QRS rolls.

I always feel like I get a little more volume from the wider holes. I first noticed that 40 years ago when I'd compare a playrite roll to a qrs roll.

@@SevenPlus65 Yeah I mean there really is no difference because even the slightest pin hole will inflate the pouches. I've found that the volume is consistent regardless because of how the system is built (pouches in inflate at the same speed regardless of how big the hole is really so as long as there is the tiniest bit of tracker bar open it'll play). As I said, placebo effect xD A good one though!

@@PiotrBarcz But....if the piano has to work harder sucking in the air through smaller holes.... it just overworks it in other places. Less resistance in pneumatics means air moves with less pressure and that's a good thing.
