It started as just wanting to be friends with everybody. But as she continued she came to realize that he wasn't stand offish and introverted. As Yakuza, he distanced himself from the rest of the class to protect them. If they weren't friends, they can't be hurt to get at him. This made her like him even more because he was so conscientious about protecting others. And he was kind. He always warned her away to protect her, but, he never got shitty about it. Then, when the delinquents decided to use her as a toy just because they were bored, they triggered Tatsu's feelings for her. They opened the tiger's cage. Bad juju, you get your ass kicked. Good juju, Tatsu and Akari both now understand how close they have become.

It's nice seeing Tatsu fight to protect Akari from the boys who were assaulting her, and gaining her feelings as a result. He really was a hero here, even if he was extremely reluctant in doing so. Plus his casual relationship with his teacher was hilarious. And his teacher is pretty scary too. And I really enjoyed how this is a follow-up to the story Gaku and Sayaka and their similar story.

I taught a kid like the MC. Near 7ft all muscle. Transferred in from maximum security juvie. He always stood up to any boy taking liberties or threatening girls. Walked some home after some delinquents threaten them. Promised the girls family not to worry as he would deal with them. Even our hard cases crossed the road to avoid him seeing them. So despite bad rap nice kid.

One of the best Yakuza MC’s. Despite Tatsu being alone all the time it didn’t really affect him.He kinda got used to it. He looks confident and is certainly no pushover. It was really nice of him saving Akari from trouble but I wonder if he would have saved her if those 2 girls didn’t come to him for help. Not only did he help Akari but he also won her feelings and became a lovely couple in the end. It’s a win win

Even in the US, he'd be lucky to not be expelled immediately thanks to "zero tolerance" policies. Hell, if she laid a finger on any of her assailants, *she'd* be at serious risk of suspension or expulsion too in most schools. In an effort to avoid frivolous lawsuits from delusional parents, schools don't 'take sides' in fights, they just blindly punish *everyone* involved. That way the *"my* child is the second coming of Jesus and can do no wrong" parents can't claim that the school is picking favorites. (It doesn't matter that the premise is completely ridiculous, the school will still have to pay legal expenses if it isn't dismissed immediately. Even when the parent loses at trial, they usually have no means to pay the judgement against them, so the school has to eat the cost.)

This one reminds me of what happened to me back when I was 28 years old I was on a rubber rafting trip down the Illinois river with my Christian youth group and one of the girls that was in the group wanted to go to town and buy herself a new swim suit well she wanted to go alone but our youth minister wouldn't let her go by herself so he told her to pick a guy to go with her and she chose me out of all of the other guys that were there with us so our youth minister took us into town and he dropped us off at the pizza hut restaurant and her and I went in and had lunch together then after we ate lunch we noticed that the Walmart store was just up the street from the restaurant and we walked there to the store she told me that she was going to the women's apparel department and I went to the sporting goods department and the next thing I know is that I hear her screaming so I happen to look to my left and here she comes running through all of the other departments with about fifteen guys chasing her and she gets to me I asked her what was going on and she told me that those guys were harassing her and she was scared of them one guy tried to grabbed her arm and pull her out from behind me and hit his hand away from her and that's when all hell broke loose and the guy's and I started fighting and after it was all over the girl and I were the only two people left standing
