Tip for raised bed gardeners: The Stirrup hoe, aka Scuffle hoe, is great at both the beginning and end of each year's garden seasons. Since the dirt in your beds is never compacted from being walked on, the stirrup flies right though!

I didn't think the stirrup hoe was to bad if the weeds were really small . That corn I planted hardly had anything come up . You definitely got to wait for that soil to warm up before planting to beat the weeds .
