Wow, “Your Origami” was especially good!! Polished, perfectly paced, and punctuated with lovely phonetics ✨

Hello, Thank you for the idea! I would be up for doing that. Do you mean a live video? Or would you ask questions in advance? I’ll write a post. ❤

I've just realised that I watched the whole thing with no sound. It's mesmerising.

Have you written these? Wow! They’re incredibly good. I like the newspaper one, sensual and slightly witty!

@@heimric2563 thank you 🙏🏻 yes I write all of them apart from the Dorothy Parker poems which I’ve read in one video :)

@@SweetFrissonASMR I must say, you truly bring the poetry to life through your reading. No cuts, all in one smooth go-I’m aware it’s a 3 min video, but from my own experience, that’s quite an impressive achievement, especially given the quality of your recitation! And, of course, there’s your accent... ☺️ Are you from England, and if so, where? Greetings from Holland.

@@heimric2563 hello :) yes I am British , in Kent ! I’m hoping to record some more videos today, I’ve been getting over an illness so had a break. I am so glad you like the poems. I have been writing for years but am only really sharing them now. So it’s a big deal for me. And I’m thrilled when I get nice comments like this. Where in Holland are you? I’d love to visit, I am a jazz singer and have links on my posts to some jazz videos , if you are interested. I hear there is a good jazz scene in Holland? Also, do you write poetry too? Best, D

@@SweetFrissonASMR Ah, that’s a shame, but wonderful to hear you’re getting better! It’s always a bit nerve-wracking to share things that are so close to your heart, but don’t worry, I, for one, find them absolutely captivating ☺️ So you're from the region of the Canterbury-Scene ;) I’m from Utrecht, a city right in the middle of the country, 25-min by train from Amsterdam. Seen a few of your vids... and you just revealed a whole new side of yourself! All-round creative personality, aren’t you?! 😉 Absolutely, have you ever heard of North Sea Jazz? There are some great jazz events in Utrecht as well, incl. at TivoliVredenburg and the Utrecht Jazzfestival. If you’re ever serious about visiting I'd absolutely love to show you around! :) Yes, I actually do write poetry, though it’s mainly in Dutch… I understand how exciting it is to share. And what's fun is that I also happen to sing! Haha I'm really glad I encountered your channel :)

@@heimric2563 that is so cool! If you ever do any English translations , I’d be very keen to hear them! I find doing ASMR poetry readings very relaxing, as I am someone who experiences anxiety a lot, actually doing these in order to share my work and help others relax, it helps me relax too. Do you sing jazz or is it another genre? I have heard of North Sea Jazz, it’s on my bucket list, not that I have a bucket list, but if I did it would be on it. Maybe I’ll write one now haha. Yes the Canterbury scene is quite famous really isn’t it! I ran a jazz jam for four years at Bramleys cocktail bar that was on Orange Street, it’s where I cut my teeth! And thank you for the offer, if we make it to Holland for some gigs I will gladly let you know. I have some music on Bandcamp if you’re interested, my most recent recordings are all originals :) I don’t know if I’m allowed to link on here but the latest album features a world class sax player called Paul Booth, I’m his biggest fan ever and it’s literally amazing that he is on my recordings. It’s with a pianist from Canterbury called Frances Knight, she’s sublime , and Jerome Davies who is an excellent double bass player, he is also a luthier and plays the double bass that he made. You can’t make this stuff up! ✨
