@Moby Biggest people complain because a lot were left out, probably because Netflix is aiming for a 2nd season. Only those who have read the webtoon complains too, those who haven't surely love this. I have read the webtoon but I also love the series

Ironically, there was actually an unrelated Japanese movie in the 80s called Sweet Home that was made into a Famicom (Japanese NES) game which has a fan translation and was the inspiration for the Resident Evil series.

agree,some of people might disagree because there are a lot of korean movies/kdramas that are famous but if you will explore and deep dive more into their craft,you will realize that they are really underrated.

Definitely check out Haunting of Hillhouse made by the same guy who made Doctor Sleep (the shining Sequel). The actress in that show named Victoria Pedretti she's amazing in it, and she's the main girl in season 2 of "You" on netflix. Overall it's written real good it's deeper than just a horror show in my opinion. It had a lot to say. Bly Manor don't go in expecting horror but it's also written good. It grew on me mainly cause of Victoria Pedretti again👌

I thought this was like a live action adaptation of the game bro! And I kinda wish it was.... (Also, I find it coincidental AND hilarious the fact that you said it looked like the Resident Evil movies but done right, when in fact Sweet Hone [the game] was THE game that inspired the resident evil series in the first place.
