Just finished its final chapter, and I feel it's a very well put together story. Hyun's character development is very satisfying. Although I do feel some of the characters needed a little more exploration and development before they were killed off. Like that old crossbow dude, or half of the escaped prisoners. I still think it's still a story that's worth talking about, and I hope Netflix does it justice.

I just finished the series and finding somewhere I can give my thoughts. It was really good. SPOILER ALERT!!! We started with hyun's journey and ended with him aswell. The faith of the others is unknown but we do know that hyun has redeemed himself and done all he could in the end. I still like the ending of bastard over sweet home but I enjoyed sweet home a bit more than bastard. But both great mahwa series by the author. Do they have anymore stories other than the two? I would love to know.

I immediately went "Oh...so it's gotta be Sweet Home" God it has such a good story, atmospheric setting and even better characters. I remember when I started reading it, I read it all in one night and I was scared to go to the bathroom. Such a great survival horror...

I was detoxing from opioids when I happen to see an ad for the series, and being able to relate with a suicidal person, I was immediately sucked in and taken for a ride I never would've expected. This was the first series I followed, as pages were still being added to the website, it gave me something to do and look forward to and help me get sober... the story hit hard with having to struggle with an inner demon or monster that fights to take over and wants you to give up and fail...😅

Te kafkaeske thematic is interesting. The kafkaeske changes really add to the story with characters that change already on their own. Especially glasses and the female lead are likable and ... The end is beautiful and hopeful. And the dark humor makes it really entertaining and doesnt take away from the emotional impact. The humor cant be understated, i think it makes it flow so good. Like that nice dude supressed desire to kill them all it fits but alsoits weirdly funny and sad and relatable.

Hey Dresrosa that was a really nice video you made! I never thought that you would start reading Webtoons because when people hear Webtoon they instantly start to think about shonen webtoons like Tower of God, God of Highschool and Noblesse. However what many people don't know is that there are some hidden gems which are not shonen. Anyway by the time I comment this video a lot of people already recommended you Bastard made by the same author as Sweet Home so to make things a bit interesting I will recommend you to read Purple Hyacinth. There are almost no youtubers who made videos about it even though it's an incredible mystery with great art and music (there are some Webtoons you can read along with music in case you don't know) Continue with making nice content!

I see others have already said it, but 1. "Hyun" is pronounced as you'd pronounce the "un" of words like un-stoppable, etc. "Cha" is the surname, so by Korean culture it should be said before the name. (Also I haven't read this webtoon yet but I think I remember the main character's name being Cha Hyun-su, not just Hyun, so... is that just a translation error...?) 2. I highly recommend "I don't want this kind of hero". It's comedy, slice of life, supernatural, and hides under this seemingly light-hearted air while having these piercingly astute observations and satire about society. Later on the themes and stories it tackles get darker and bloodier too (though it never shied away from death and tragedy to begin with). The art starts a bit shaky but becomes straight-up beautiful later.

I’m late to the recommendation party, but, I can’t recommend “Grey is” by deejuusan enough. It’s criminally underrated, and I consider it a masterpiece (I don’t use that word lightly). It follows the lives of two childhood friends and explores themes like friendship, the human condition and mental health in depth. I’ve never seen anyone handle sensitive topics so well. The character development is so rich, the characters are lovable, relatable and intriguing, and it’s full of heart-wrenching moments as well as really warm & uplifting moments. I cannot recommend it enough, it really is a gem. Be patient with the first handful of chapters - you may be confused at first. But I hope you’ll hang in there, and see how much of a master the author/mangaka becomes.
