Sweet Mama Dog Interacting with a 3yo DS child From Jim Stenson.

Life is full of special moments, open your eyes, open your mind and most of all, open your heart, you will see. I found this video online, I did not film it but I thought it was so special I had to put a song behind it. To me, the female Lab is trying so hard to befriend the child. The boy is cautious but curious at the same time. The person who filmed the original video contacted me in January 2013 She is the mom, her name is Ana, her sons name is Hernan, and the dogs name is Himalaya. Watch when the dog puts her paw on the boys shoulder as if to say, I love you, everything will be ok. If your heart doesn't melt your not human. FYI: THE TEXT in the video was INSPIRED BY a beautiful little DS girl I met. She said to me "God didn't make a mistake when he made me" and her daddy told her, she was a "Gift from God". I REPEAT THIS WAS A QUOTE FROM A LITTLE DS GIRL. I had to edit the video to fit the song but its all original content and BTW this is my first VIDEO edit. I understand. My wife and I are both considered to be totally and permanently disabled due to spinal cord issues. Those in our respective families think we are both fine and that nothing is wrong with us. They turned their backs on us. So we turned our backs on them. We now have two golden retrievers who are both certified therapy and companion animals. Merrylynn, nobody understands unless they're going through it themselves - sadly. Sorry to ramble. Just wanted to say that I feel the exact same way about animals. Hang in there!

That dog tried so hard to break down the barrier with the toddler. The young fella was not too sure but the dog did not give up. In the end the toddlers went all in for the full hug❤. Dogs are extremely intuitive. They detect emotion/body language very well and can understand if someone is having trouble communicating. I love how the dog rolled over on to its side while sticking out its paw, as if to reassure the child that it wasn’t being aggressive.

My dog did that to me once. Shes passed on now. She was a mother dog.. it was one of the darkest moments of my life and i went for a walk late at night to clear my head with her. @BLUE Lives_Matter! I've always heard that people only use roughly 10% of their brain power (that's science) so imagine all of what we don't know. Especially about this thing called life. Except the dog you see in this video was bred by a human to be gentle and submissive, this type of dog doesn't exist without humans, the big, gentle, lovable ideal of a dog you're referring to doesn't exist without humans. I believe, a lot of dogs have a 6th sense. My golden doodle is always on patrol when the grandkids come over for a swim. For some reason if small kids are in the pool he goes in a whole different mode. Also, he’s always closest to the smallest kid.
