I understand. My wife and I are both considered to be totally and permanently disabled due to spinal cord issues. Those in our respective families think we are both fine and that nothing is wrong with us. They turned their backs on us. So we turned our backs on them. We now have two golden retrievers who are both certified therapy and companion animals. Merrylynn, nobody understands unless they're going through it themselves - sadly. Sorry to ramble. Just wanted to say that I feel the exact same way about animals. Hang in there!

That dog tried so hard to break down the barrier with the toddler. The young fella was not too sure but the dog did not give up. In the end the toddlers went all in for the full hug❤. @BLUE Lives_Matter! I've always heard that people only use roughly 10% of their brain power (that's science) so imagine all of what we don't know. Especially about this thing called life. Faith comes in when that nothing is thought to be everything, when 100% of what we don't know is revealed & that non-life turns out to have everlasting life. Except the dog you see in this video was bred by a human to be gentle and submissive, this type of dog doesn't exist without humans, the big, gentle, lovable ideal of a dog you're referring to doesn't exist without humans. My mother always had a dog throughout her 89 years of life. At times she would decide not to have another dog ever because of the pain when they died, but she would always fall for the next dog appearing in her life. Dogs are special and know who loves them.
