They're amazing. I love all their tunes even the bubblegum pop ones. I always liked them but didn't appreciate them enough. I do now I'm 60!

These live performances at Musikladen really show how great of a drummer Mick is, very underrated for his advanced and unique skills. They were pioneers, looking through each year of their music it was always changing, going from pop to hard rock, and they kept the fun glam rock look throughout all of it too. RIP

5:28 … What a SWEET memory….🤗 Mick Tucker was not only a fenomenal drummer indeed, but also a warm and caring man. We met in 1977 in Sthlm… Yesterday (17th of July) he would have been 77 years, but sadly cancer took his life at the age of 55 😢. He gave me the gold drumstick earrings with Mick Tucker ingraved, a fond memory 💕.. Rest his soul 🙏

I never get tired of watching this video. I've been a fan since I was 9 years old (1974) and only heard their popular songs. Fox on the Run was my favourite, now its No You Don't. Definitely the most underrated band of their era.

I could watch Mick Tucker on the drums all day. I've seen some very good drummers in my time. Mick was up there with the very best. His style of drumming was pure class. He was one of a kind in my view.

I totally agree. Thank you is appropriate. I think Desolation Blvd is equal to Led Zeppelin 2. Desolation is one of the greatest rock albums ever recorded. Guitar players know this.

Hi! I know that Sweet was the most underrated band!!! I was only about 10-12 years old, when The Sweet was on top. Now, as an adult, I found them again here in KZbin and I´m HAPPY, so HAPPY!!!! Considering that 'The Sweet' began their career with the typical hit songs from the ubiquitous pop hit writers and producers Chinn and Chapman, it was amazing how they changed their music over the time. This is a perfect example how varied their music was.

6th June 2020: I've just heard Steve Priest has passed away. They were a great British rock and roll band, I used to look forward to seeing them on Top Of The Pops in the '70's. Only Andy left now. God rest Steve, Brian & Mick.

That's what made Mick so likeable is that he could laugh at himself. He never seemed to take himself too seriously in these videos and that's very refreshing. You can tell he really loves playing. I also agree about the back view of Brian. Sexy!

JB and Neil Peart cannot be compared to anyone. They are above reality. Everyone else are just men. The Sweet were as tight as they come. All you need do is look at Queen's success and attribute all of it to these guys. They took original complex music, copied it and rose to the top. While guys toiled in mediocrity in the US. Sad story.

One of the best things on You Tube. Sweet were my first love and I’ve come full circle. Brian Connolly was male perfection. No one twirls a drumstick like Mick. When compared to the crap we’re subjected to these days, well there is no comparison. RIP dear Brian and Mick.

I’m 32 and I grew up on rock and roll but only recently discovered this band somehow. To say I’m obsessed is a understatement. Also rather mad they aren’t in the rock hall of fame I’m sure I’d have found them sooner.

I couldn’t agree more. Definitely one of the most underrated musicians of our time quite frankly. Certainly a legitimate pioneer of the rock n roll genre. It becomes so obvious how much both he and the band in general influenced the entire genre when you see just how many prolific musicians emulated what The Sweet were doing long before anyone else was doing it.

ты как и все русские,конкретный дебил))) свит это глайм рок Первооткрывателями жанра «Тяжелый металл» стали такие британские группы середины 60-х годов, как Cream, The Yarbirds и Jeff Beck Group вместе с Джими Хендриксом - именно они добавили в свое звучание более тяжелые ударные, бас и искаженный гитарный звук, которые приписываются данному стилю.и не забывай про led zeppelin

I´m totally shocked (impressed to say the least) how great sweet performed live way back then. As a child they were my favorite band. I never knew about their marvelous live-qualities. Unbelievable! Thumbs up!

First time I have ever heard this song. Man, these boys could really rock it out! I am a new fan. Brian Connolly was just, I don't know how to put into words his greatness. Like all the good ones, just gone too soon. RIP Brian and Mick.

I forgot which of my older brothers bought the Sweet album when it came out I was only 11 years old but loved the whole album. It rocks! There were 3 peaches crates full of albums and slave was in there also.

This band keeps me sane. I grew up on their music and they are all I had when life was a living hell. Listening to Sweet is like coming home. They give me strength to go on every day of my life.

Watching these guys are every bit as good as listening to them. Their personalities really shine when you see them perform. Definitely should be in the RNRHF. Hell, their music STILL holds up to this very day. One could argue that these guys were actually waaaaay ahead of their time based solely upon their talent and abilities as musicians.

I humbly prostrate myself to the raw power, musicianship and groundbreaking sound of The Sweet so perfectly on display here. Makes me sick that some still think of them as a band with some novelty hits in the 70's.

I love this song ~if you're up for it check out 2.44 into the clip / you have to look close because it happens very quick. Mick lets go of the stick full flight and recovers it / i think it's deliberate to reposition his hand upon the stick .Either way deliberate or accidental ~it's a phenomenal recovery / he had so much flair, pleasure to watch !
