Oooooo! I’m growing sweet potatoes 🍠 for the 1st year this year! I can’t wait for harvest! They are a little hard to grow in the UK but I love them

Fascinating video! I'm just a city boy living in the suburbs around new york cityfrom New York but I've grown morning glories my whole life! Never knew sweet potatoes were from the same line!

Those purple potatoes generally take a month or more longer to size up than standard sweet potatoes.

What about around the raise beds they have runners
@manorfarmshomestead11 ай бұрын
Most of the time you will miss out on the runners putting down potatoes with raised beds. However, this year I did have some of the runners put down potatoes around the raised beds. I'll be posting a video of this shortly.

It would have been easier for you had you cut the vines first before pulling them.
@manorfarmshomestead Жыл бұрын
That was the original plan. There were just too many vines to get in there and cut individually. After about 10 minutes of cutting vines with very little progress, we just started pulling out vines. 😊
