Good advice. Would love to see a video focused on some of the materials you use. I took the ShoeSurgeon online course and learned a ton, but I've discovered a lot of shortcuts with their process like lack of double-stitching and no banding on the tongue for example. Would be great to learn more on your approach. (Thickness of the leather, types of padding, what you use for the heel counter, where you buy materials, etc.) If the answer is, take my course, so be it. Thanks for all you do.
