Wahe Guru se pronuncia "waa-je guruu". Guru está compuesto por dos conceptos: Gu que significa oscuridad y Ru que significa luz. Así Guru es aquél o aquello que nos lleva de la oscuridad a la luz. Wahe es una expresión de júbilo o éxtasis. la traducción de este mantra sería: "Estoy en éxtasis cuando experimento la Sabiduría indescriptible."
Este es un mantra que expresa la Infinidad y el éxtasis de habitar en Dios Wahe Guru expresa la experiencia indescriptible de ir de la oscuridad a la luz, de la ignorancia al entendimiento.
