Beautiful version of this, one of Blur´s most underrated beauties. Some say it was dedicated to Graham, who was Damon´s best friend up until today, though he left the band and it disbanded a couple of years later. Now the relationship is recovered, they put the band together around 2008-2009 and what a gift it was for me, who was too young (a kid) when they were together origianally, to hear about their reunion: I remember I was in my first year at the university, reading stuff while my girlfriend was doing some her things with her classmates and the headline made my heart jump: they were getting back, and I couldnt be happier. Either it´s a song for Graham, or for a ´´love´´ that was fading or even gone but you´re craving for having back, you can always relate to it and its lyrics tear deep into your heart. Im going through some darkness today, that´s why I recalled this song and this version and came here to find some ´´peace´´. If you´re going through something similar, myself from the future tells you everything is gonna be alrifght, it´s just a process: the sooner you adress it, the sooner you´ll start healing. I know....my mind knows, though hearts are usually stubborn and ´´like´´ to feel. PEACE :)

Felt the same way with Keane I was sad to see them not making music. I remember relaxing at home in 2019 when I saw the new song outta nowhere I never been happier in so long. I hope I get to go to their concert as well!

If you like stuff a little more funky (not funk-y tho) and weirder, blur's lead singer has another great band which frequents amazing small guest musicians. "Gorillaz" is really incredible stuff, try desole, or Deja vu.
