It makes me so mad that i can't enjoy this album without the lingering feeling of knowing the events that led up to it. I watched those twitch AMA they did during covid and was so ready for the sweet trip comeback. I just wish the best for Val in whichever avenue she wishes to peruse in her life.

@@LfunkeyAi think there’s a degree to which we have to accept that this album was made as a weird love letter to val. even though roberto was creepy (to what extent we can’t extrapolate but it’s very easily read through the lyrics of their music, as well as the anagram this album is) music can be separated from the artist. roberto wasn’t the only person who worked on this album, you can still enjoy sweet trip for it is (my fav band) despite that.
