Agreed. I remember being able to carry my multi tool on the plane with me. I remember when my family and friends could go with me to the gate and wait with me until I left. Now I have to leave them at the TSA check point an hour or more before I leave. Other people living in fear sucks. I remember when my flask of vodka was still in my bag when I arrived at my destination. (The flask was emptied, but the bottle of 91% alcohol was left right next to it with the notice “no flammable materials allowed”). WTF

The cops names are Baston and R J McCoy. Roger Xanders is the director of Police and Fire. He will love to hear about the behavior or these public servants. There are rules about proper handling of the flag. But, in America with the right to free expression, it has been ruled by courts that defacing the flag is protected free speech. The cops have been taken to court about their blue line flag defacement and ruled it has the same protection as protesters. I agree, they shouldn’t do it. Flag desecration is prohibited by US Codes. It's just that the Supreme Court ruled it's free speech and the First Amendment trumps random laws. Still, it's on the books and government agencies absolutely should be adhering to it.
