when i studied abroad in korea my host mom made me this AMAZING jjajangmyeon and jjajangbap and i have YET to find anything as amazing :( even when i was still in korea !! i guess ill have to visit her often my next time in korea hehe but ive accumulated a list of places with jjajangmyeon to try next time i go thanks to you and other channels !!

Space Llama There’s this really famous vegan bakery/cafe in Itaewon in Seoul: Plant Cafe. Their menu is completely vegan, and they have gluten-free options. I think there are more and more vegan spots opening up, so be on the look out for those before you go.

This looks the closest to traditional chinese zhajiangmian ive ever seen. It’s supposed to be with meat and sauce only (as opposed to the korean version it’s not sweet and contains no potatoes and such), and then you put thinly julienned cucumber and radish on top!
