9:11 This song was dropped as part of Myth's 4th anniversary live. Ame announced her transition to affiliate the next week, but all of Myth had known for a few months. She's waited to announce it after the Live so it wouldn't be hanging like a dark cloud over the concert.

Loose-Loose Days MV is essentially an "answer" to her End of a Life MV. One being about her feeling lost and heading on a new journey, feeling sad about leaving friends behind to her feeling at home in Hololive and being contempt with the oppurtunities life has given her and the friendships she has made.

I remember hearing that Show Goes On was composed by a 70+ year old jazz musician, which is an interesting touch

11:12 Technically both. Lose-Lose Days is one of Calli's songs from the album "UnAlive" from 2022. This song is like an answer to "End Of A Life". While End Of A Life is about Calli's experience before hololive and the aftermath with Calli's struggles, this song is about her wholesome experience during hololive. The official MV was released one month after Ame's conclusion of activities. There the MV became a tribute to HoloMyth and the growth of HoloEN. There are many references and easter eggs to Myth's moments (like all the pictures from their livestream & 3D streams) and all the gens, like Justice, Advent, Promise and even Council!

my sweetest scarlet is a song dedicated to one of nerissa EN kohais allegedly. and the line "Above or below me" is a reference of that generation first original song.
@mikoajgref71923 күн бұрын
@@shinzho7537 I’m pretty sure that’s a misunderstanding and she herself explained that the lyrics were written long before Justice debuted.

No that's actually a misinterpretation. Nerissa had the song made before Justice ever debuted, the song was RELEASED after that because of the schedule for the EP release. The title Sweetest Scarlet refers to red lipstick and kissing, while "above or below me" refers to sexual positions. The Holo Justice song Above/Below and that line "Above and below me" likely reference the same Christian proverb "As above, so below" but ironically rather than directly. The song has got nothing to do with ERB or the rest of Justice, even though you can interpret it as such.

the inclusion of the call back to End of a Life in Lose-Lose Day's MV is especially poignant when you remember the meaning behind End of a Life was about Calli missing her old friends and people admired who responded badly to her having success in her work and wishing they'd be proud of her and now she has Myth with her and it's given her a reason to keep on going with her path and work to make THEM proud now I really recommend watching the Myth Anniversary 3D concert too, there's some really interesting performances there and the chorography for The Show Goes On! is really cool too!

For me what I love about Sirens is it’s really Advent’s response to Justice’s debut song, Above Below, as in Justice’s song it was all about how good they are at their job. Advent is basically calling them out and challenging them to try. A good amount of the lyrics are either retorts to Justice’s lyrics or taunts to the characters themselves, two good examples being at the beginning being the lines of “All bark, but you don’t got no bite” along with a bit later “Chase me until you can’t breathe”, this one more specifically directed towards Gigi as she is referred to as The Chaser. There’s plenty more subtle and not so subtle nods to Justice and Above Below and to me it just reinforces just how tightly knit these two gens are, both in lore and as talents and performers. Also little Easter egg that may ruin or improve the song but the writers slipped in a nod to Biboo’s “Sticking out your Gyatt for Nerizzler” into the song’s bridge just after the second chorus

Sirens came out not long after Justice debuted and is basically a "come get us" song. Lose lose Days is among my favorite Calli songs. It took years to get a video, but it got one at the perfect time, considering Ame's becoming an affiliate. Show Goes On is fun. Since it was written probably knowing it might be the last full Myth song, im glad they just went with something fun. As for Sweetest Scarlet, even if Nerissa truly did not write it with Liz in mind, the fact that it lines up so perfectly is pretty fun. You probably haven't seen much of it yet, but the dynamic between the two of them is pretty great

"My Sweetest Scarlet" totally not about her sweet scarlet kouhai. Nope, definitely not about her, no way But in all seriousness, I guess she wrote the lyrics before she knew Justice was going to debut, or who was in it, or whatever. Also, there's a second songwriter listed on it, because she shopped around for melodies for the EP, and it came with sample lyrics, including the line "My sweetest scarlet, my sweetest scarlet." She liked some of the lines enough to work them into what she wrote, and asked the guy who wrote the sample lyrics to be credited

A couple of things have been pointed out in other reactions: - "Whether ABOVE or BELOW me": Probable reference to Justice's debut song "Above Below" - Scarlet, probably as in the Scarlet Queen, Harbinger of Order... "The Show Goes On!" premiered 5 days before her decision was ANNOUNCED. I'm sure she discussed it with the others well in advance of the official announcement, so I'm pretty sure they knew. It could be seen as a "We will always be 5" kind of thing, similar to JP Gen 5 after Aloe resigned, but even moreso as Ame is an affiliate and actually intends to return for special stuff. The faces in Lose-Lose Days remind me of K-On! sometimes. And by this time, Ame's activities had ended, and a certain jerboa would debut a couple of days later...

@@Nyperold018 that I’m aware of myth knew about Ame’s decision before Breaking Dimensions and I think promise and advent learned around the time of that concert, then Ame withheld the news until after the anniversary cause she didn’t want that hanging over everything even though she could have announced it at the start of that month.

According to Kiara shortly after Ame made her announcement, Myth had known for months. I guess knowing Ame would be leaving soon was part of why Kiara pushed so hard for their 1 block minecraft a back in June, so they knew at least that far back
