Thank you for the video. Like you, I started as a hand knitter and would put all my stitches back on double points to Kitchener the toe. I’ve watched many videos on this method and yours was clear and made the most sense to me…it finally “clicked”. To help me find the very last stitches on the ends, before I start grafting I put all 4 ( 1 top and 1 bottom on each side)on their own light bulb stitch marker. Makes it easier for me to make sure I am getting all the stitches.

This may actually make me want to make top-down socks! Thank you, I have had my machine for 12 months and only one set of socks.

This is one of the ways I've learned to close the toes on my CSM-cranked socks! Let me know if you use this method too!

Thank you so much! I usually knit socks by hand but I recently got given 8 skeins of sock yarn, so I think it's time to learn CSM! I have also never seen anyone "butterfly" wind yarn either! So much easier for a smaller amount of yarn.

Thanks, Felicia. I have not seen this method before. I put mine on needles to graft.

I used to put mine on needles too! But Erin taught me this method last year at the Erlbacher homecoming and it’s all I do now.

Your videos are so clear and professional! I've been knitting on csm for almost 10 years now and your method is very similar to what I do. Thank you also for the discord group reference. Can't wait to play with some of your yarn on my machines!

I love the small tapestry needle you’re using to graft the socks. Can you tell me the name of those small silver needles, I never seen one quite Ole those.

I also save my waste yarn by wrapping it onto a toilet paper roll. Makes it easy to crank off of and I don’t tangle it up because wow did I ever tangle it up a lot before I started doing that!
