What a sweet project! I love the Victorian era! Love the courting traditions and the simple acts of kindness they shared so prevalently then as well. I like to make things like this and just give them out randomly, sometimes with a little chocolate and a note that says a sweet little something. I work in a large hospital and many times people who work so very hard go unnoticed. I used your soap pouch and added some little chocolates and a note that said “you a appreciated more then you know” and left it on a woman’s cart (anonymously) who cleans the rooms in the ER, it was worth more then gold to see the smile it brought to her face! Such a sweet little pouch! Had marked this video and finally came back to it to make a pouch with leftover DK yarn. Used a larger hook (G) so used fewer chains for the tie and a one-row heart pattern ( to keep it tiny). The pouch is just adorable. Love it! Will try another one using a smaller hook. And I might just try one with crochet thread and an itsy bitty steel crochet hook.(haven’t used one of those in many years). Thank you for this darling - and versatile - pattern. And your always crystal clear instructions. ❤️
