Since the early 1980s, in South London Tippa chatting soundsytems. Simply one of the best UK deejays (later known as 'MC's). Tippa Irie long time member of SAXON SOUNDSYTEM. . Saxon sound is without a doubt the greatest soundsystem to come out of London and the UK as a whole. Many great sets they took part in throughout the 1980s and the early 1990s. CREDIT to the full Crew; Tippa Irie, Daddy Rusty, Daddy Sandy, Daddy Colonel, Papa Levi,Junior Sandy, Miss Irie, Trevor Ranks. Not to leave out the "UK BUBBLERS" who contributed a great deal to UK grassroots dancehall development in the 1980s ... people like Asher Senator, Smiley Culture, Peter King (Mi Neat Mi Sweet), Macka B, Pato Banton, Dominic (white boy who travelled to JA, to chat with Metro), Top Cat, Maxi Priest (singer), Laurel & Hardy (Not the vintage comedians), Papa Face, Bionic Rhona....I could go on for days.

I remember back in 1990s I was searching through the radio stations for some acid house music accidentally turned into David rodigan he played girl of my best tippa irie. Followed by Michael prophet Ricky tuffet you love.. it was a Knockout blow for me to be honest at age 13 I was speechless . And from that day to this day reggae music has been one of my greatest passions in life.. sorry for waffling 🥱 so I won't talk about my legend sir John Holt.,🇬🇧👍
