I just watched this video and enjoyed it. Obviously you are going to learn a ton of stuff, which I believe is part of your ethos. By now I am sure the track on the digger is back where it belongs and you will know how to repair it next time. Adopting a dog is a great way to make a house a home. You're obviously having a lot of fun as you learn to navigate your new situation. The digger work is certainly making a huge leap for you. I was curious about the construction of the yurt foundations as they appear to be just sitting on top of the ground unsecured...? I couldn't see any cement or wire or metal bracing that would protect it from a strong gale or seismic activity. I also noticed the same with the bathroom build, is it attached to the deck, or simply sitting on top of it?

We didn't concrete the Yurt platform or the deck into the ground because of licensing! It's currently winter here in Portugal and the yurt has held up pretty well against the weather! But thanks for the concern, and we will keep an eye out!

I might have kept the tall loo/shower. It was tall but not ridiculously tall. A shower head should be a bit higher than normal if possible, you see that all the time in luxury homes. With both "rooms" so compact, vertical space is a plus (smells and steam). Anyway looking forward to seeing the CRTs in your gaming room!

Good luck !! you must have won the lottery as it will cost you hundreds of thousands to build this horrible house your architect came up with !!! Just the architect's plans must have cost you several1000's Eur.

How much of what you do is legal ? Is your planning agreed by City Hall? Is seems to mee that the "house" you bought is illegal. Which counts for many of the portuguese buildings. What budget are you on or are you hoping to live from KZbin income? If so people who watch your videos should know. Honesty works best.

Why so many questions Thomas? And it is mostly invasive questioning in my opinion. I take it you are Portuguese and know the law and rules there. Did you survey the house and land? And what business is their finances or how they plan to live of yours? Sorry but your whole comment is pretty aggressive from where I am reading it. I have been wrong before though.
