Personally, we love the gardein the best as recent vegans. They remind us the most of what we ate before. The field roast are good but very high in calorie, so glad we found the gardein. We havent tried beyond burgers because they're pricey. Thanks for the videos!

My favorite veggie burger is the Trader Joe’s protein burger. I don’t love the realistic meat burgers. I never liked regular burgers tho. Chris and Tom are funny, you guys should have them back!!

I'm curious though, I feel like the Lightlife burger would need seasoning to make it taste the way you want it. Because it's meant to be life if you're buying ground beef. You wouldn't serve someone a burger that wasn't seasoned, right?

I love these comparison taste test videos. The Beyond Burger is hands down my favorite. If I'm really craving a traditional burger, it hits the spot. I only buy them occasionally though. However, I do like to keep a box of Dr. Praeger's in the freezer as an easy, quick meal option. Usually I get the mushroom risotto and eat it on toasted whole grain bread with lettuce, vegan mayo, and ketchup. It doesn't taste like a "burger" but it's so good.

Hillary's is a big no for me. If I'm going to ear a store bought Veggie burger, it's Dr. Praeger's all the way and Beyond Burger is my go to for sure. I have to say I agree with Caitlyn about the fact that if I'm going to have a veggie burger, I would prefer making my own. This was a great video! Thank you!

I like the field roast from time to time for the budget vegan burger. The cool thing with the Beyond is you really can just use it as a ground product. You can roll them into a beyond meatball, or you can take those thick patties and squish them down to make it fit a bun better. You could even take the burgers to mush them together in a bowl and add your own seasoning and make new patties out of them. They are really flexible that way.

I love the Impossible burger, but not in the pre-formed patties. It's cheaper and tastes better somehow to buy the ground meat and make my own thinner patties and fry them with some sea salt on top. Also love the Dr Praeger California burgers.

Excellent video and review. It was a great idea to get non vegans to review it too. The only options that are available in the UK are the Beyond Burger ( supposedly available through Tesco but I haven't found it yet in the local branches of Tesco) and the Gardein burger maybe either in Morrisons or Sainsburys (I don't shop in either so I haven't checked if it's available).

I'm a gluten-free vegan, and unfortunately, most vegan burgers contain gluten. Beyond and Impossible do not, but they can be more expensive. Aside from those, my favorite vegan burgers are the Amy's Sonoma Burgers. They're gluten-free, and you just pop them in the microwave for a minute and they're done. Delicious! Thanks for testing all of these for us! Love your videos!

omg imma let you finish but the don lee farms regular organic burgers are my FAVORITE vegan burger. i highly recommend being on the lookout for those. they are probably the second best in meatiest texture (first goes to beyond burger) but the flavor profile beats out beyond burger for me plus it doesn't have that awful smell lol which is why i prefer the don lee one.

Well... it's been a year since I saw this video and about 6 months ago my husband came home with the beyond burger with no prompting from me. We pan fried it. We both liked it. It would have tasted even better if it had been grilled. He said it had a weird taste, but that he would buy it again. I kept burping the rest of the day after eating it and was kind of heavy in my stomach. I would still buy it again. It does taste a lot like what I remember a burger to taste like. I believe it's been at least 12 years since the last time I ate a burger.

Beyond is definitely my fav. 😃 I don’t like Lightlife which I thought had a weird coconut flavor. I need to try the Crunch. I really like Amy’s Sonoma burgers. I also like Dr. Praeger’s but sometimes they can be mushy. Bocca burgers for nostalgia reasons. I thought Morning Star was supposed to be coming out with a vegan chzburger I really want to try but I haven’t seen it at the store.
