Okay, I'm sorry but I just have to say that I've heard this particular drum A LOT, and even though I'm a firm believer that touch, tuning, and skin can make any snare sound good or even GREAT... I've just NEVER heard this snare sound, um, good. It's weird because I've heard other low priced Pearl snares that sound good, to great, to EVEN phenomenal but... IDK!?!

Didnt Nick already do this? I feel like Casey is way overrated for what he does. Sure he got in when KZbin wasnt criminal and got subs, but honestly, he doesn’t do much of anything music wise that makes me feel like “wow”. He seems like a nice dude, but his playing is so blown out of proportion.

Aaron Levy You dont need wow chops to be a good player. I dont find gospel chop drummers interesting at all. But there is some level of proficiency needed. Even for marketing, his personality isnt enough to carry the playing. Hes holding onto that novice enthusiast crowd for youtube because I dont see him sitting in with known acts.

I just expect more when a company is throwing time, money and resources behind someone who they think holds value because of inflated social media numbers which in return, is not tangible engagement as they think anymore. Theres actual players who tour the world who deserve more attention and actually sell the products based on their playing and creativity, not “community worship drummer” level lol
