Hi from Montreal, Daniel Fisher is excellent! His way to presents the gear is always well structured, get to point and gets the twist that makes a product unique even if there is redundancy of fonctions/ options compares to other machine. Cheers!

Daniel, you manage to squeeze the pips out of every synth you demo. This synth is a no brainer. Thanks.

Thanks Mr Fisher, I’ve, had the Typhon for a month now, and more impressed every day, sometimes you even forget it’s a mono! Terrific demo as always, great job explaining some features that are a little overlooked in the manual. Cheers

Thank you SW! 29:08 turned my head. Now that is ear candy - wow. You *never* disappoint Mr. Fisher - cheers! PS Geez, sometimes I say things poorly. Let me explain. This is *all* ear candy, though I loved that low growl change in the theme we were grooving with along the journey you took us on, Mr. Fisher.

1:20 YES! Finally this fundamental feature is starting to get out there. I know that historically the original CV step sequencers didn't have transpose because adding the sequence CV to the keyboard CV was external to the sequencer but it has been a huge fail for 30+ years that digital step sequencers lacked this feature. To recreate Spiral, Dervish D, or 3+3 using the majority of digital step sequencers means programming the same sequence over again for each transposition. Vangelis didn't have to do that in 1977 so why should we have to do that in 2021? Excellent!

oh boy. this must mean they are almost in stock. I'm getting one due to the deep integration of effects into the patches. I love digital control of analog and as much as i want to have another arp odyssey(my 1st synth), i just can't go back to vintage style manual patching. not now in 2020. (caveat: i may make an exception if behringer puts out the 2600) edit: the probability stuff and the evolving step sequencers is very familiar territory for wavestate owners too. that is a huge part of the magic.

Hi there! How is the synth connected to the power? Are you using an external battery and usb cable? Usb to computer? I have read this synth doesn't use a regular ac adaptor, does it? Great review by the way :)
@sweetwater3 жыл бұрын
Hi Aki_Gong. In this video, I'm powering the Typhon with a phone charger block into a USB cable. It can also be powered by the computer. But going with a portable phone charger battery will give you the best signal/noise ratio if you're recording. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_

this for around $400 or Hydrasynth (D) for around $800? (kind of rhetorical as I already have a Typhon on order...but still its an interesting contrast...to me at least)

For the life of me I can’t see why anyone would choose a Behringer synth when things like this exist on the market. Such an wonderfully realized and creative synth.

@@9877joseph I think it’s got something to do with the chip shortage. Unfortunately it’s not gonna be in my budget for another month or so, but it’s definitely next on the list. I just got an Uno Synth Pro in, so that’ll keep me busy while I wait.

@@HotStrange did you get the full-size? Yeah, I love how it looks and that it has a software companion
@HotStrange3 жыл бұрын
@@9877joseph No I got the desktop unit. I don’t have nearly enough space for another full size synth, which is why the Typhon speaks to me so much. Such a great time for mono synths (and synths in general).
