Jimmy Jam is underrated on the synth bass lines he has created over his illustrious career. Not to mention his melodic lines and lush chords. The combination of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis was just musically lethal.

“If You were here tonight” by Alexander O’Neal is one of the most beautiful ballads & Janet’s thumping beat of “The Knowledge” although could be Terry’s also. I also loved attending the live studio session of The Jimmy Jam Jan Jan Jam session of Control. It was a experience I’ll NEVER forget. Jimmy Jam is in love with the greatest electronic instrument ever created. Yes, and his admiration for the minimoog is not surprising, because this instrument is demanding for playing leading sounds of a single note. It really is wonderful, but I wanted to enjoy more of some sound. Anyway, Poly D's sequencer is 4 note polyphonic, great for auto chords, but it also has the classical setup on board.
