@@rvdnagel1963 man, I'm 19 years old, I primarily listen to metal and punk music but I started getting into frank zappa's music recently and it's just on another level. Out of all the guitar players I listen to, even the shredders and stuff, zappa tops them all. His music is just so abnormal and amazing. So I guess I'm one of the few of my generation that loves frank zappa😂

I, with my daughter and a few friends, took one of his master classes from him the day of his show (which I went to). He's a great teacher; extremely patient. It wasn't long, but he had some really cool ideas to share to open up our own playing. In the meet and greet after, he was really kind. His father has been creeping up the top 100 greatest guitarists list. I think Dweezil belongs on that list. I've seen him live 4 times and he just blows me away.

What do you get when you give a talented drummer a guitar? - Shut up and Play Yer Guitar. I’ve replicated the tone these past few weeks using an FM3. So I’m crazy enjoying getting those melodies under my fingers. But the technique is throwing a bit of a wrench into a lot of the muscle memory.
