thanks to Stephanie I got to enjoy this artform too. you did a Marvelous job. Especially the way you produced the gem.... very surprising. Now...who am I.....but I would have preferred the capuchon to be more metallic and with an opening here and there , to make it look more real jewelry like. The color reminds me more of chocolate. I'm sure there must be a way to refine it. But overall : nice !

This is so gorgeous! I've never seen this technique before. Question: could one of the paint layers be glittery? I wonder about the glitter moving around too much during cutting, and "infecting" the whole piece, rather than looking like sparkling veins.

Hi. Using glitter would be nice. I do think you'd have to take care the glitter is where you want it. That glitter has a mind of its own! You could also add glitter to varnish to try to keep it where you want it by "painting" it on. Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed this project.

Sweet Willow Designs yea, I kinda do, kinda don't. it looks better at the end though, but it's still very nice. I'm not good at putting colors together. I'm a black white and red kinda girl lol. I wouldn't even know what color to put with it. lol I love watching your channel. you give me such great ideas. I'm still new, been doing it for about three months. the only think I have issues with is putting things together to make one piece lol I have a lot of pieces ready to get put together. ;) thank you for sharing your work.
