Wow they actually act like a close group of friends or kids in the same class, I love their energy, they are so likable, even better than MCU casts which has now become more corporate 'business partners' than genuine friends. Weird that's the vibe I get from the DUNE 2 production as well, just a group of genuinely passionate people working on something truly great together.

I love they are like different kinds of kids in the class Timothee Chalamet: Polite and chill Florence Pugh: Cool, real and completely being herself Zendaya: Chill, caring and sarcastic at times Austin Butler: Reserved but actually good at deep conversations

Haven’t really heard Austin in that “deep” convo you’re talking about. Where is that? True, Zendaya is sarcastic, sounds sarcastic at times, says it in a funny way(not really) to cover it up. E.g., when Timothée quoted a line from “Icarus” as part of his answer to a supposedly deep question of which the interviewer “warned” him - Zendaya quipped “Oookay” & looked at him with something like “You’re being showy.” look subtle smear. She appeared like she didn’t understand why Timothée quoted that line to answer the question. The use of that quote was correct. The woman who asked the question was surprised with that answer.

Correct - that’s why Timothée said he didn’t know what it was because the woman pronounced it as “German” with “dropped R” -that’s how I heard too & was a bit confused why she pronounced/called it as such & was waiting for her to say “German jam”. Hence, when told what it was Timothée said “Oh, “jAAAAm” stressing the “A” line when you say “DAMN”(as in dAAAAm)- open mouth & tongue spread out to produce the “AAA” sound

The woman who said “jam” sounded really like “German”(with dropped “r”) so Timothée understood it as “German” so he said he didn’t know about it(jam). So when told again he repeated it as “jam”(with letter “a” emphasized as “j -aaa-m”, him being a New Yorker is how that word is pronounced.

yea but it's also weird that as a new yorker he didn't get it cuz us kids who grew up in nyc are used to so many ppl from many different backgrounds so having a different accent is normal to us

yeah but that’s how they pronounce Jam over there lmao, so it’s understandable that he could mishear it but she still said it correctly. it’s just a funny occurrence of different accents!
