Omg, memories. It's funny how most people can relate to this song. I can too. In fifth grade, I made a new friend. She was new and didn't seem to fit in, I didn't either. So I decided to welcome her and make her feel at home. Later on we became friends and introduced her to our group (my other friends) of "Happy Nerds." We were made fun of by the so called "popular people". Mostly the girls. But we didn't give a fuck. We were happy people. Me and her talked and laughed and played together. The year ended, and I told her I couldn't wait to see her in sixth grade. First day of sixth grade, I see her at the "populars" table. She was different. She was talking with those other girls. I just stared at her for a moment, cuz I was like... what is she doing over there?! Doesn't she know that those people mean bad news? . My friends asked me what was wrong, and I said "nothing," I went up to her and said, "hey brianna." They all looked at me with disgust. Even her.. one of them asked, "Hey bri bri, do you know this nerd?" She looked at me and glared. "Ha! No!" She said. I was devastated. I literally wanted to cry, I ran to the bathroom and cried really hard. I've never been so embarrassed. It was a pretty fucking terrible experience for a little girl who was so sensitive (aka me).My nerdy friends had to comfort me the rest of the day. The following year, she began bullying with the populars. They bullied me, and the rest of my other nerd friends. But you know what? That taught me not everyone will step into the light. That just proves people are too dumb to know who their real friends are. I hope karma hit Brianna where it hurts by now.

A couple moths ago, I was dating a boy that I really liked. He had to live with a girl our age because their parents were living together, and that girl clearly didn't hold her sexual "instincts" back. He used to hate her, but a couple weeks after we started dating, they became "friends" for whatever reason. After that, they started hanging out more and more, until it got to the point where they would spend the night in each others rooms and she'd walk around the house without a top on. They didn't mind being in the restroom together when they bathed, he would purposely walk in on her when he knew she was undressing, he invited her to sleep in his bed, and he carried her through the hallway with her arms wrapped around his neck with a very apparent possessiveness, all in the name of "step-brother and step-sister". The whole time I was keeping kind of quiet about it, but I would tell my best friend everything, and she thought it was strange and inappropriate. I did, too. I just didn't want to cause any problem out of something I might be overthinking. I started asking some of my closest friends what they thought, but I did it in a third-person narrative without giving names. I asked them what the situation seemed like, and they all started laughing and joking about saying things like, "Sounds like incest!" Yeah, it did a bit. I finally told my mom and I asked her what I should do. She was very surprised and getting a bit angry at him, so she requested that I break up with him. So I did. Then he started crying (along with me) and saying things like, "But I love you!" "I'll wait for you!" "God, I'm so stupid." He said that he would never want to be with anyone else ever, that I was the one for him, and that he'd wait for me until I took him back. The next day, he came back to me and said somethings, ending with, "I still love you, I love you the way I loved you three weeks ago." A week later, against everything he said, he was already with some other girl. The things they did, it felt like it was almost to mock me. It probably was xD To be honest, it's not like I didn't think he might do something like that. He wasn't hard to read. But still, I cried, and cried, and cried. That feeling of dread in the bottom of my stomach didn't seem like it was going to cease, I felt so lonely. But THEN, I got over it. Because he was probably the dullest knife in the drawer. Plus, I love my family and my friends, I love my life. I have a lot more opportunities now than I would've ever had with him, and the very fact that he "got over me" so quickly proves how shallow and fickle he is, and what a fool I was to waste so much time on him. Every time I think about it, even now, I feel like I'm breathing in new, fresh air; I'm so happy. I dealt with so much anxiety, I couldn't trust him with anything. Not with his "step-sister", not with what I wanted to confide in him with, he constantly did the wrong thing. I am glad for one thing about that, though: being with Levi and now realizing how terrible that relationship was, I've grown to appreciate other things. I can respect and empathize with people more than before. I can read finer lines-- I can see through a grayer area. I also know how to better respect myself, and not to excuse people for their actions. He didn't make me hate people, he only showed me a reason to love them all the more. Please don't get me wrong; I never thought that he was the emblem of my life or that I'd never be able to live without him. But he was a big part of it at that time, and I think that I truly did love him. He probably thought he loved me too, but he didn't know how, and he really didn't care. He's selfish and arrogant with no reason to be. I'm glad to be without him. So, thank you, farewell :)

Now his family was really rich and so he was very spoiled and during high school, he got mixed with some very bad people and before I knew it, he joined a gang and was dealing drugs. Ahhhh.... This song makes me think of my friend, we were friends since we were babies and all through elementary school. Things got weird when we went to middle school, as he moved to a private school, we still hung out on occasion but it was obvious our interests were drifting apart. This lasted until about freshman year when my mom found out on Facebook that his parents divorced. After that we couldn't get ahold of them at all, his mom cut my mother out and we never saw each other again. I managed to get ahold of him through my old steam account that I no longer use. I texted him for awhile, but we had both changed too much and nothing clicked. It's sad, he was my best friend through my entire childhood. I've been blasting this song so much, like a lot of other people in the comments. A few months ago I had a best friend, Jade. We wouldn't do much just talk, no 'popular girls' we got closer after a while, start sharing everything. One day she just stopped talking to me, I wondered why but just shrugged it off. Still had a huge group of friends.. than like any other classic movie everyone started knowing my secrets. A few people were a little hurt but most didn't care. I used to know this girl named Julia. We where friends ALL through preschool. Until my CRUSH moved away, and then I got upset and was IGNORING EVERYONE.. I really wished i hadn't though.. She was like, my only friend.... I felt SOOOO sad when I had to move, and wished I had never met her.. I saw her one last time, This was our conversation: "Sofie, WHAT THE HECK!!!" Julia said. She yells at me. I looked at her in shock. "But...!" I say. "NO BUTS! JUST LEAVE!" She screams. My mom comes over. "We're leaving," She says. "I never wanna see her again, mom!!" I said. I could hear the sound of crying. Not hurt feelings crying, sad I'm leaving crying. I never saw her again.
