I thought i saw a gator go by when Anhinga was trying to get fish off of her beak and thought for sure it would wind up with the fish! If it was a turtle it had to be a big one by the size of its nose/eyes!

Great video! Glad to see that F and M are doing better. Looks like she has a bit of a crop, that's good. That poor fish! Got the life slapped out of it before being downed..... holy crop, Anhinga! That sub-adult really needs to move on, there are plenty of other trees. Thanks, Lady Hawk. 😎

They look so good ... ! I'm hopeful we get more info from CROW on how birds (in this case M15 & F23) build immunity. I'm assuming it's from being exposed; however, that's prob the 'easy' answer. Regardless, I'm thankful. So. Very. Thankful.
@melissamcclain3420 сағат бұрын
Eagles can potentially build some immunity after exposure to avian flu, although the level of immunity will depend on the severity of the initial infection and the specific strain of the virus, with the possibility of passing on some resistance to their offspring over time through natural selection; however, it's important to note that this process is slow and not guaranteed, and eagles can still succumb to the virus even if they've been exposed before.

So happy to see them together above the nest! I can't imagine sitting in the traffic below waiting for the light to change and seeing M15 and F23 in their nest! What an honor for those below to witness these magnificent bald eagles in person! Still keeping them both in my thoughts and prayers they continue to fight and overcome this avian flu. 🙏❤️🦅🦅❤ Amazing footage of the anhinga catching and eating the fish. Thank you, Lady Hawk! Anyone else see the eyes pop out of the water just before the anhinga swallowed the fish? What was it? see below - probably a turtle - thank you! (not baby gator...)

Yes, I also spotted the two eyes peeping out of the water at the end! In my mind I imagined it a turtle wondering what all the noise was about! 😊 It is amazing seeing so much traffic passing, many drivers possibly unaware of the beautiful Raptors iving here.😻🏴

Great to see them both at the nest again. They’re looking better every day! Nice to know F23 is eating as I’m sure M is too. The Anhinga catching and eating that fish was interesting. A big one too! I got a kick out of the way they make sure it’s not breathing anymore… poor thing really. I’m sure it didn’t take long after being banged around like that. It had to take a few sips of water to help it go down too! Nature is weird at times! I did see the two eyes peek out of the water… hmmm, wonder if it is a baby gator! Praying everything continues to go well as it has for M & F. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I also wonder about the nest. They have been down there a few times; though I think the harm would have come from being ingested; so thankful M & F appear to have a strong immune system. ❤May they continue to flourish! Thank you Lady Hawk!

I remember watching this online when F24 was casting a pellet. She looks ok for me 🙏😊🤞🍀 Just the casting pellet process itself looks rather disturbing for us viewers but for them it is normal biological part of their digestive system 😊 She rouses because of intruder in the tree top, showing who is the boss here ❤🦅💪 Footage with Anhinga is as always fascinating to see like this bird itself 💕 very very special 😍 Good to see old friend Anhinga again in the pond 🙏 Slowly everything is getting back to normal here 🤞🍀💟🙏 Almighty M15 and his beloved M15 are constantly in my thoughts and prayers 🙏❤️ 🦅🦅❤ May Universe protect this fascinating and the best BE couple, pond, the nature and Pritchett Family for giving them safe heaven 🙏❤ Dear Lady Hawk thank you very much for this footage and be blessed 💖🙏🍀🤗 🐝🌺 🍓💗

As much as I would like to see a second clutch, I fear that the nest is to contaminated to be safe. There is another nest that I am watching not too far away. The Capita Island eaglets are a few weeks younger than E24 and E25 and just as close personality wise and I have not seen any beak bonking. I am worried about them.
