M15 knows the way to his loves heart (and how to get egg time ;)) a nice just fish does the trick every time. Even better than a twice or a stick. M15 getting in practice for when he’ll have all those beaks to feed in the near future. With two babies in the nest I’m guessing they’ll share feeding duties to ensure both get their fill. Still, that’s some time away yet.

Hi Lady Hawk, can you tell us what’s happening to the top of M15’s wings? I started noticing it back when he was raising E21 and E22. It was very small then but it has gotten worse of the past couple of seasons. Is this normal, and if so, how long does it last? Thank you.

M15 is quite the fisherman. She’s really enjoying her break from the nest today. I have a fishy question- is there another larger lake or a canal near them? Or is that pond stocked? It’s so small I wondered where he fishes. We need to send him out for some fresh grouper!
