Things are blowing around pretty good now just after 11pm here in Ocala. Our 2 sky pilots look very professional taking off and landing (with cargo I might add) on Pritchett runway. That big ol' log may come in handy now with these winds. Hopefully it helps anchor that nest in place. Here's to sunnier days!😊🥂

Hopefully M15’s hurricane experiences keep them safe whilst this storm wreaks its wrath. He and Harriet survived Ian in 2022 in good feather, even though they had to completely rebuild their nest after the old one was destroyed. Talons crossed that M15 and F23 don’t have to start from scratch when the skies clear. To everyone in the area affected by this storm, please stay safe and know that the eagle nation is praying for all.🙏🏻🦅💕

More often now I watch on tv/different account. Unable to post comments - but I think of them! Like the day F23 flew in with that mega-log! Was curious to see what her plan was. 🤔 Perhaps she felt the center lacked support. They’ve been working hard to raise/build up railings. Then will surely add more than enough soft materials to keep them all comfy, safe & warm. hopefully the Last Major Storm of the Season for Fla Eagles. As far as Earthquakes(Ca derived) or major Gulf storms Fla Eagles and other Raptors are in a Decidedly larger life threatening situation. J & S in BBl just endure small amts of shaking at times and recently large but rare Wild Fires which they can fly away from. Thanks for Posting L H.

Harriet would have a fit. This nest looks like Big Bear nest nothing but sticks. Harriet always had a flatter bottom and all the sticks piled around for a guard rail. The nest as it is is not their usual safe nest😢😮
