Hello Sweet Friends. Just wanted to give you a quick update from SWFL. I was checking in to see if any sightings of M&F and found a new Update: "We are monitoring M and F23 who have been perched out of cam view. Report: 1:41 pm they took short flights around, back to their perch spot, vocal. Flights looked good. ADDED: Report: 4:15p they continue to perch close together. They vocalized at a sub-adult flying by. Pritchetts. I want to also include a big shout out to the locals and the Pritchetts that help so much to keep us informed! They know how much we want to hear some good news and how M&F are doing. Oh thank you, I literally can't get out of this sadness upon me since the eaglets passed and there was no word, nor sign of M or F23. I'm praying like the rest of you and just reading that there were vocals heard from the two of them and they are perched elsewhere for now, has lifted my spirits. Thank you so, so much. Losing E24 and E25 has been devastating to all of us, but I am grateful we had the opportunity to watch them grow up together. It would have been wonderful to watch them fledge and learn to hunt from their parents. If only... I hope CROW can determine what happened to the little ones. Seems the most likely cause was contaminated food, but we'll have to be patient. So grateful for CROW as well. And thanks SO much D MorningStar for the updates and information.

I know the passing days will help us all heal, but right now it's just a time to grieve and share some of the good times and pray for Our Dear Couple M&F. I can't imagine what they go through. I had faith in belief that M15 and F23 will be fine. They like us are taking a pause and it’s still not out of the cards for them to do another clutch in early March. Good afternoon my friend D MorningStar ❤️🙏🦅🦅💪🏻💪🏻. I want to thank you so much for the very good update on M&F. It warms my heart to know they’re still doing quite good and have been taking small flights too which is good. I also hope (which I’ve been worrying about) is if they’re eating cause that will help them to be able to keep their strength up. I also knew too that once the E’s were gone that mom and dad would not be in the nest or even perched there too cause it’s basically only used for laying eggs and raising babies too but, it would be nice if they maybe did stop at the nest and sat on the attic for a bit. I’m sure you can really tell but do they seem somber or pretty ok as Eagle parents who’ve lost their babies can be? This is definitely a relief for me cause I’ve done nothing but cry and I’ve even thought about them non-stop this morning at dialysis and hoping I’d hear or read some good news about them.❤️🙏🦅🦅. I know that they are such strong and resilient creatures but still feel the pain or loss of their babies whom they loved so very much too. I’m sure it will take time for them to heal and be able to get back to what they do best and that is to maybe have another clutch and raise their new clutch and teach their babes how to Eagle. I’ve been so very worried and honestly cried the most for M15 cause he was sitting at the nest just looking out into the horizon and hopefully he was talking to Harriet and she was helping him to get through the grief but F23 is there with him for sure and would never leave him. Hello Dear Friend. I have been so sad and trying to keep up with getting updates out when I hear them. I still can't believe we lost both eaglets, and trying my best to stay positive and praying for M&F so much. I do think that eagles grieve, but they have their own ways. Just like we witnessed M15 so still and solemn for so long on the little U branch. I think that is his thinking spot. He stayed there too when his Queen disappeared, but had to stay busy with his babies too. Must have been so difficult for him!! F23 also, seemed so sad and bewildered and stayed perched away from the nest, but still close by. I was happy to hear that they are perching, vocal and flying around together. I don't think that M15 will abandon the nest. He has been through so many things, losing his babies and Harriet, Hurricanes, you name it and he always comes back. Of course, as always, I can be wrong, but I pray he will return with F23 and they will carry on. They need time together and that to me, is the most important thing right now. They will help each other. Stay strong, and I know you will continue praying. I pray for all my sweet friends like you, that we will all heal and again enjoy what we love so much!! @ Hi D MorningStar 🙏❤️😢🦅🦅. I know what you mean when you were telling me about M15 sitting on that branch looking out and he was so lost and that it just absolutely broke my heart in pieces.💔😢😢❤️🦅. I definitely know that F23 is bewildered as to what on Earth happened to her babies and why they had to leave her like that cause she and M both have been great parents and love being with their babies too that they both are absolutely lost. I just pray that M15 downy move on to somewhere else cause he has many great memories that I don’t think he will ever want to let got of.❤️🦅💪🏻💪🏻. A new life with a new partner and this is their second season together and I know they have many more years together and babies too. I do still hope somehow that they will show themselves and even if it’s at the water where we can see them drinking or taking a bath. I’ve already been crying when reading your comment bavk to me and also Lady Hawk has a comment with pics and also a website where we can go to light a candle for the E’s and say something but I can’t do it just yet. I kept the website it’s on KZbin updates but I’m not sure how you say exactly where it’s at but you’ll be able to see it if you’re interested. So, I’ll go for now. @ I’ve been able to sleep good thank God but, I’m not saying that I don’t go to bed not thinking about M&F cause I do and ask God to be with them to keep them healthy and get them through their sorrows too. Yes, we all shall get through this and also the way thing we all are doing is by not avoiding the topic and always talking about them which right there alone is healing. So, we all are doing each other a lot of good even though we’d love to see M&F but the way I look at it is, as long as they are healthy eating and still around there that is all that matters to me. I do hope you’ll be able to sleep tonight too and clear your mind and think nothing but good things and funny things also. It doesn’t hurt to laugh during a sad time cause it’s also good and very healing too. Please,remember, these eagles are beings OF NATURE. They are not here to entertain humans or to keep humans happy..this is NATURE & WILDLIFE. Life & death are a VITAL part of nature; they happen EVERY DAY. I am always concerned for this eagle community because they are SO centrally located; too many cars & people nearby. The pond does not look great or very clean. I am SO hoping that the mature eagles are healthy & remain so. I do watch eagles in the wild & their isolationm & natural environment ( and very few humans!) really seem to keep them stay healthy & thriving. RIP little babies❤

Both of their eaglets have passed away within 1 day of each other. CROW has retrieved their bodies to find out why, and people are concerned about M15 & F23 now. We are all praying for them to be healthy and recover from the losses. 🙏🏼🌹
