SWFL Eagles ~ Surf & Turf Deliveries by H & M! Both E's Eat & PRIVATE FEEDING For E22 By Mom 1.10.23

In the morning, both E's got a feeding on the leftover fish by Harriet (E21 on the left & E22 on the right) It was another good day of food deliveries with M15 bringing in a roadkill rabbit and a headless fish (a redfish) and Harriet a RK rabbit! M flies in with the first prey of rabbit and leaves it on the side of the nest and Harriet is not ready to feed the E's yet. M returns with some grasses and takes over brooding. Enjoy some beautiful closeups of the E's (E21 still on the left & E22 on the right).
Harriet flies in with her own rk rabbit and leaves it on the left side of the nest.
And then M will leave and return with a headless fish - fresh from the headless pond! M will give a feeding with E21 eating the most - E22 did get a few bites. Then there was a shift change and Harriet is on the nest to give E22 its own private feeding again while E21 sleeps! Both E's have a full crop once again! When finished Harriet will brood her babies as they sleep. Thank you for watching!

Thanks cam operators for the adorable closeups!🤩 At 12:06 & 12:09, were it not for E21 persisting to bonk its little sibling E22, I would say they were *beaking* sweetly. They appear to be, don't y'all think? 💓🐥🐤💓 And E22's crop is so big you'd think s/he's ready to crop-birth... is it possible this early? Probably not, their food has been only tiny meat bits, nothing to expel - yet!😉 With both having such full crops, I anticipate both babies will be in deep food comas long enough for both mama and papa to accrue substantial crops themselves- there's enough food in the pantry for a feast plus leftovers ☺️ Dear blessed babies, your parents are brilliant so you can eat and grow and fluorish and be smart & resilient and live your best lives for many years to come. My ❤ melts when I see FULL crops Chuck full of fish/rabbit guts and a smile on the babies faces as they slumber into dreamland. It means it’s been a good day at the nest! And that’s not by luck folks, that’s because of the 2 super ⭐️ parents Harriet & M15 stocking the pantry and spoiling his 2 little ones with a wide variety of tastes thus far.
