Must admit, I couldn’t watch. Love them too much. I know it happens, but also know these 2 are blessed with the best parents. I believe all will be well. Thanks Liznm❤

Poor E25. His eye is OK. God bless. Mom doesn't try to feed E25. M15 feeds him more. Thanks for your video!❤

Wild life is sometimes cruel, it is the law of the strongest .... sometimes parents have to make radical decisions and between siblings the survival instinct is learned in the nest. I am happy that the eye of E25 is ok 😊 M15 & F23 feed them enough, they are lucky to have such parents and to live Florida (no snow, no frost, no blizzard). Thank you for the video and the reassuring comments Liznm 🤗

Good morning liznm🙏😎🌴. WOW!! That big bonk from the one E on the left to the other that fell down face down sure bonked the other so hard and it looked like it hit the others eye badly.😢😔🤞🏼❤️🙏🐥. I sure do pray that there aren’t any injuries or if any do become severe I feel the one should be taken out and taken to the hospital (but only if needed for sure) I was hoping for a mild or no bonking but this seems to be getting quite severe from the older one and I’m hoping that it doesn’t get any worse. It’s good to know the Eaglet wasn’t injured and thanks to the Cam-Op for checking in on it too.👍🏻 I have to confess that sometimes it’s difficult for me to watch the live cam and also a video once I read the title of the video and also the description too and I still give a thumbs up though. Thanks and God bless and have a good day. Sue M. Clearwater, Florida ❤️🙏😎🌴🐥🐥🦅🦅🎄🎅🏻😘❌⭕️

@ So nice to hear from you @kcloveonaleash. I just want to thank you for your kind comment and also letting me know about the bonking between the eaglets. I’ve been watching the SWFL Eagles nest for a good couple of yrs now and am aware about the reasons behind the bonking between the Eaglets and why they do it too and it mainly has a lot to do with dominance and especially with the older Eaglets. I started watching the year when there were two Eaglets that were sick with eye infections and had to be removed from the nest (can’t remember what year) and taken to a hospital for antibiotics for them and the mom Harriett was so frantic about them but, when they were returned to the nest, she was so happy to see her babies (think it was E’s18&19) and I have been watching every since. I have always gotten my education from Lady Hawk and also from D MorningStar too. So, I do thank you again for your comment and I do understand what they do and why they do it too but also at the same time, I don’t have to like it either. It is however, an Eaglets life and also an Eagles life too. God bless and have a good day. Sue M. Clearwater, Florida 👍🏻🙏🥰😎🌴🦅🦅🐥🐥🎅🏻🎄

@@kcloveonaleash Anyone can read about it on the Internet. You just have to be interested. We have been writing for years about why there is sibling rivalry in some birds of prey nests. Interestingly, this does not exist in hawks. Nor in falcons .I've already explained it in other videos here. But there are also observers who still don't want to understand it. You have to accept that. BTW: Bonking is a very bad word in Europe. We prefer pecking 😁

In the video we can see that E24 is much bigger than E25. This is not good regarding their safe future.

It will catch up and there is enough food.
@liznm-natur-channel6 сағат бұрын
E25 is younger than E24. . They can't "catch up". You can see a size difference in birds, if they are hatched several days apart. It's called asynchronous hatching. There are also birds that hatch synchronously. As example Water birds. They are all the same size and all hatch on the same day. I see absolutely no problems here in this nest right now.. Everything is normal. There is not much sibling rivalry. M15 and F23 are know very well how to feed both of them and minimize the risk of major rivalry. Firstborn gets first.

For me this siblings are quiete nice to each other. E25 can eat at every feeding. The little is doing well. Pecking is pretty short. I saw much worse bonking in this and other nests.

@@liznm-natur-channelEstoy de acuerdo, este año no se ve esa agresividad por parte del mayor, hubo temporadas mucho peores. Es cierto que puede cambiar, pero de momento no veo problema. Gracias ❤
