Swift/GX - Development #3

Development video of Swift/GX prototype, multi-platform game written from scratch in C++ with OpenGL as a backend renderer for a University of Technology 'Advanced techniques for games development' course. After finishing prototype version it will be ported as a homebrew to Sega Dreamcast and maybe other consoles. As for now multiplayer is only split screen based although there is some preliminary netcode implemented. Having everything written from scratch with only Bullet Physics as dependency, it works on GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows and as a input it supports XInput compatible gamepads only. Vibration is also implemented, but it's impossible to show this on video. :)

Billboard girl was shamelessly ripped from Wipeout 3 and refactored. All rights goes to the original Wipeout authors, this assets were used temporarily for development only.

Is the game still in progress ? i would really like to know that cuz it looks really good ! Kickstarter project maybe ?

Hello, thank you for interest and sorry for late reply. The answer is actually "yes and no". You are interested in PC part of this game or Dreamcast release? If the second, it will be released but in a little more refactored form, but this won't happen this year for sure as I don't have Broadband Adapter and debugging stuff is a lot harder without one. BTW, kickstarter would be silly for that lame project of mine, so no. ;)
