An awesome mouse - everything about it's design has a purpose and is very functional and easy to use. In Sniper Elite 4 I've set RMB to scope and deep click at 50% for hold breath and reduce DPI - releasing the RMB results in the DPI returning to normal and the Shift key being released. Well done Swiftpoint - worth waiting for both mice to arrive.

4:52 - VERY pleased to see this used with Elite:Dangerous.

Elite:Dangerous seemed like a good game to showcase the unique functionality of the Swiftpoint Z. To answer your question, I am always on the hunt for good peripherals for gaming and such and when I encounter them I will share them here on this channel for sure. I will check out the aLLreLi M-910 as my Overwatch's Total Mayhem mode is giving me Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. LOL! :)
@Grayson_Phoenix5 жыл бұрын
@@TheMadHermit -- Ouch, re the CTS..! >_< LOL Update for you -- the aLLreLi branding may not be used anymore (??), but you can also look for the "M910" under the DeLUX brand, as well as the Etekcity brand (aka Etekcity Scroll M910); and I'm most recently aware that the TRUST brand of peripherals is selling it as the "VERGO" (Wireless Ergonomic) mouse. So, it may not be wired. I'm not 100% certain (yet), but seems to me the Wired version (like I have) can go up to 4,000DPI, but the wireless is limited to 2,400DPI?? Perhaps to do with battery life conservation, doing fewer surface reads... (?) The software which came with my aLLreLi M910 allows setting 5 "levels" of DPI rates, in steps of 250dpi. It would theoretically be possible to program one of the M910's side buttons as a "Sniper" button, as just a few mice feature by default, which will swap the DPI from a usual high DPI to a low e.g. 500dpi in order to facilitate precision aiming (ie Sniping)...

I got one of these, best mouse I ever bought.

Kalijah Anderson I'm thinking about this mouse but have a DIY question: do you think removing the rubber pad and drilling a hole in the Pitch & Yaw Joystick Base would add directional motion of a mouse? (I'm not sure why it wasn't designed with with this in mind, so feedback would be appreciated because I might just opt out and get the Lexip Gaming 3D Mouse).

wonder if it's possible to play diablo iii with this mouse alone without having to rely on a keyboard for the menus/skill shortcuts.

Would this be something you could use for long gaming sessions in World of Warcraft? Was planning on keybinding all of the triggers and what not for various spells. Or would it be uncomfortable and annoying to constantly have to avoid pressing the triggers under your fingers? Also, can the tilting and other gyroscopic features be disabled? I don't see a use for that in my application.
@TheMadHermit5 жыл бұрын
I am a gamer and the mouse is very customizable so it comes down to personal preference. You may want to map some keys to mouse buttons and others not. You have to find the sweet spot that works for you. With regard to the gyroscopic features... they don't seem to come into play unless you map them to something in a game.
