Hi, while your implementation is great and you seem to be very good at swift and swift ui and ios in general But I think you are just delaying the app startup This will just add delay without any benefits The splash screen should be should while loading the app and not after it

Should be visible only while loading the app* However, another solution is to show this and delay the app only the first time when the user opens the app Implement a real splash screen only while loading. It's before the app engine initialized, so I think you should see the official documentation I'm not an iOS expert like you, but I'm sure you can do this easily
