The effects of Vanish lasting an additional two seconds is great since the ability not only grants you improved stealth but prevents you from dropping stealth if you take damage, normally for three seconds, but glyphed for five seconds.

Why is swifty so surprise about some talents and some glyphs? most of them are in cataclysm, no to many new things: nigthstalker, combat rediness, preparation, shadow step, glyph of blurred speed, glyph of blind, glyph of garrote, glyph of gouge, glyph of sprint, glyph of safe fall, etc

Most of the rogue glyphs are the same as they are on live. The problem with rogues in MoP is that they aren't really getting anything new while other classes get a bunch of fancy spells. Plus we got nerfed by having to choose between prep and shadow step. The poisons are nice, but we'll always need crippling and some of the other choices are better than the poisons. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out, but rogues really don't seem that great in MoP

Cloak and dagger is now so op compared to shadow step especially with subterfuge so rogues can teleport from target to target with just cheap shot or ambush for the 3 seconds you stay in stealth (assuming you have enough energy)

ey swiftah! u should probably try to make a rogue or something just to get to know them. a lot of what was on there wasn't completely o.p., as a matter of fact it wasn't really at all. rogues can only do dmg on a stun... or atleast that's when he would want to anyways, because they're burst can be countered VERY easily. as a result, good rogues go for a survival build. some of those tallents did look good, but your base rotation is fairly the same.

if your a arms warrior spam your overpower, i also use demorilize shout keep in front of the target as best u can, use the trinket to offset the combo damage disarm etc or perice howl if u got it.Never use execute it will miss 9 out of 10 times just overpower mine hits them for no less than 18k damage until there dead.

Wonder if they're going to buff rogues dmg, I could care less about longer cooldowns or choosing between prep and step. Rogues are a pure dmg class, so doing low dmg makes no sense.

the vanish glyph is good bcuz u dont break stealth if u take damage in stealth. If u have a damage over time effect on u then u have more chance to escape

No, that was more of the ridiculously op days of the rogue class. Stuns, blinds, and saps with no diminishing returns = everything dies. The only way you even had a chance of losing as a rogue is if a warlock got a fear off on you and it didn't break during his DPS.
