This guy really turned my life around when he launched this channel 10+ years ago (time flies). This channel reminded me to take care of myself and remember to game in moderation. It pushed me to make changes in my life that i could not be more grateful for. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you Swifty! You are a true legend, and a good man.

No lie, man. Not to get all deep and stuff, but his vids def encouraged me to go outside and seek fulfillment and appreciation in things outside of just video games when I was younger. I think that lots of young gamers nowadays could really benefit from watching video game content creators like him who promote a steady balance b/w gaming and real life.

He really inspired me too.. I first found him in 2015. Back when he and Takarita were “together”, whatever you want to call it lol. Those were fun days though. I don’t play wow anymore so I rarely see swifty anymore but always appreciate him.

Bruh im 28 now. Have a house, married, 1 amazing son who's just started school and run a jiu jitsu academy... and to think I started watching swifty back when he was releasing 'Incredible warrior tricks' , the gaming house with Rico, Paco, Nexius, Mercader, Jason, etc - 'cook with your heart' with his Mum and other adventures - this guy has honestly been a part of SO many of our lives during the earlier 2000's and I'd just like to say THANKYOU John. Dam swifty i missed you a lot... i started watching soda, but when i found you it was a breath of fresh air... you got the best personality and values iv ever came across in all the streamers. I love you, man. BTW I'm Portuguese so Spanish since it came from Latin too, it's like my second language! I'm also a licensed electrician, not that good in small electronics and those tend to be manufactured by machines because the welding is micro whit micro components, but... Went to a barcade in Vegas called Player 1, where you paid $5 or $10 for entry, with unlimited free games, and they made their money selling drinks (alcoholic and soft drinks/energy drinks) and snacks. Was a lot of fun! Some barcades around me still do coin-op, but as a customer I'd much rather swipe a card once and never think about coins or credits again. Super exciting! Will definitely check it out when it's open.

Not sure if anyone else noticed, but when you used your fingers to count all the social medias, you used the ring finger when you said "youtube" and the half pinky when you said "youtube shorts" :D Anyway! Welcome back! A couple of favorite moments were when you wanted to show how to strafe in WoW and you slipped in the grass (not sure if that was the IRL channel though) and the video when you and Tenex went to Tijuana flats for the ghost pepper :D Also, I'm such a retro console nerd, so the arcade part will be fun to follow!
