Mirage is an underrated game. Of course, I am disappointed with the combat and parkour, but still, this game has many elements that can be played creatively. Ubisoft Bordeaux did the best they could in a difficult company situation.

You don't know what the word 'underrated' means. Ratings come as a result of subjective views just like your own. You are just part of the minority who like the game, perhaps one who has never played the Ezio trilogy or Black Flag to really understand why people are disappointed with every game since unity, only to have their return to the roots be a waste of the new tech when they've always pushed consoles. Combat and parkour IS Assassin's Creed, so if you were disappointed in that, why even try to defend the title or the company?

You know, 😅 It's not just about the graphics. Honestly, when we played Ezio's trilogy, we had a great time because Rome was stunning. Exploring abandoned buildings, navigating complex structures, and underground areas added a challenging and exciting element that I don't feel in the new game.

Agree ! Knives are only for long distances, and if you are not that far from enemy, it would be cool to use Hidden Blade because it's a real Assassin's thing ! And Hidden Blade kills look cooler ! 😊

I feel that air time freeze is the stupidest thing ever, it ruined how you have to carefully aim and shoot your projectiles at the right time, like in AC Unity, and you can just slow time and get a free headshot.

Thanks for the video! I think Ubisoft Bordeaux did a great job reviving the Assassin fantasy within the constraints of the actual Anvil engine they have to deal with. It could be in my top 5 AC, with a few tweaks, polish and additions here and there (new game+ or « replay memories » or Money Pouch as an additional tool to let us manipulate civilians). I’d love to hear your thoughts on Mirage in an interview with @LeoKRogue

That's a really weird question lol since it's such a subjective answer. How much do you enjoy stealth/action games like this, what's your current financial situation to the point you need X amount of hours of entertainment to justify spending ~$50 on the game and do you expect to reach that mark if you had the game, accounting for all your other time commitments such as other games? If you have nothing better to do and $50 doesn't mean much to you then by all means get it, if you've already got 300 hours of games queued up with all the recent release or $50 is as much as you save in 5 months, maybe don't get it or wait for a sale. If I were to give generalised advice based on my experience, if you left Valhalla a bit disappointed about the lack of stealth and movement elements and are looking for something you can sink ~12-20 hours into then this might be for you. If you're looking for an emotional and well written story where you fight with your allies against overwhelming odds from an insidious corrupting menace through various set pieces then maybe play Baldur's Gate 3 or Spiderman 2 instead. You've seen the basic gameplay loop watching these videos so if you think that would be fun for a few hours and worth the price of admission then that's your answer.

@@eddiejr999 I understand it has been apart of the game, but it is only the recent games where you can go invisible, teleport,, have a variety of different "powers" that cant be blocked or stopped, I mean in Oydessy you could assassinate an entire camp in like 30 seconds by just having an assassin build and the teleport assassin knife throw move. It became less about skill and stealth and more of a RPG, which assassin's creed has never been. Additionally, when is the last time any of the games had a convincing story?
