For budget dolls, these are surprising nice. I like them better than those slimy rainbow world dolls. I miss the articulation, but the shoes aren't ugly.

I love these dolls, mine arrived from Amazon Australia today because they haven't arrived in shops yet. I was not sure what I was going to think about the printed denim but I actually don't mind it. I desperately waiting to get some of the fashion packs, I bought one off Ebay but paid way to much. I think for now I'll keep mine in the boxes. Thanks for showing your dolls.

You know, a lot of collectors are really put out about not having articulation but I grew up with Vintage Barbies ( 60's & 70's ) so we didn't have many, if any, articulated dolls for a long time, so doesn't bother me at all. And if I want articulation I just grab one of my other dolls that does have it.@@millydollydame

Nope, they only have the basic points of articulation which I quite like when they're just modelling clothes 😊

Why brush out the curls in the dolls also taking out gel is taking out the pattern as well

I think it's habit from buying thrifted dolls 😄. At some point I'll wash their hair to remove the gel completely and perhaps put some curls back in Ruby's hair. It should feel nicer after a wash ☺️❤️

They are so cute. I can't really buy one because I am starting a low buy year. I am already late because I bought some dolls half price in France (SH and RH mainly). I could not resist the price and it was dolls that were on my wish list (2 of them are series 3 SH. I could not believe they were half price but after they got rid of the Christmas stock they were back up full price when I left a few days ago 😶). They have the neck articulation, that's great. My budget Daphne has head articulation too. I don't mind the lack of articulations.They are budget dolls and that's part of their charm.

Congratulations on getting dolls from your wish list! I managed to get one of my wish list dolls on sale but panic bought Berrie Skies at full price in case she wasn't going to get restocked. So far she hasn't. It's a great idea to have a low buy start to the year!

I'm so glad you think the budget dolls are fine with their limited articulation. So many people seem to be horrified about it but I think it makes them more playable for children (who probably have a tendency to lose doll hands).

I want to keep it going longer than the beginning of the year. I will still thrift of course. I can't help it. I want to buy less in shops. It sounds easier than it is! Most SH are on my wish list but I don't buy them all. I am really running out of space. I also want to spend less this year generally. I have found a RH doll in a charity shop in France (the charity shops are called "ressourcerie"). The charity shops are quite new in France and they are improving. I could not believe it when I found her. It is the orange twin laurel. She is so pretty and I did not have her. She is missing her top but I dont like it very much. I have it anyway from a boot sale. I will find another top for her. Very pleased with her.
