Idk how i feel about this bait. I am not a fan of 3 pieces. What are the advantages this has compared to two pieces such as kgb tsgs? Tsgs seems to glide much smoother n doesnt spin out of control if you chop it fast.

Yes, very much different baits... a traditional glide will do as you described, cut left and right and shoot out and carry some distance if designed as such... multi piece swimmers are just that, swimmers. Chuck and wind, you can pop em etc but they won't ever glide. Eden8 was designed as a sort of hybrid between these two styles. The difference between it and a true swimmer is that the rear joint is very tight, with limited lateral tail movement. This allows the bait to Glide back and forth, granted not with as much distance as a true glidebait. The bait will also swim similar to a swimmer on a straight retrieve, although the head will have more lateral movement than a traditional swimmer. The advantage is that you get a bait that can do both within one cast. For instance, you can throw it near cover, twitch it back and forth like a glide, and then once it leaves that zone, you can pick up the pace and wind it in with more of a swimmer type look. The disadvantage is possibly that it doesn't glide as good as a glide and doesn't swim as good as a swimmer. The angler must decide if they are willing to give up a specific action to instead acheive more versatility. To your last point, Eden8 is a wooden bait. Generally speaking, a resin bait will always have more stability and give you that super stable back and forth glide compared to a similar bait composed of wood. But that's a whole other worm hole to dive down into. Resin may be a more suitable material for building baits. With that being said, wooden baits have a certain feel/sound/action that may be advantageous, and often anglers appreciate the craftsmanship of a wooden bait over a resin one. Best answer I can give you is to look for the bait(s) that you have confidence in, and are efficient at taking advantage of a certain bite that you are on. It's impossible for anyone else to tell you what will be the best bait for your specific bite, approach, style of fishing, etc etc

@@swimbaitreviews6847 i appreciate your knowledge and the info you have given me that most people would not share for newish swim-bait users. Swimbaits were the reason i picked up a rod to begin with due to the realism of it. I always buy new lures to try out ultimately regretting some due to them not working the way id like them to. If you don't mind me asking, what do you look for in a swim bait that makes it worth tying up or even buying if you have not tried it nor seen it in action? What makes you choose to buy that lure with little info other than word of mouth? I get the term swimbait is very broad in the game, im just generally speaking about glides only. I just cant tell the difference between why some people say some glides swim better than others. I get the wide n narrow swim motions and the chopping and burning motions but how come expensive glides like hiro 11s are considered "good" glides When they look and swim so similar to glides like islides. I get the materials n all are different in pricing but are these superstitions actually proven that they trigger more bites? If versatility is something most people are chasing, wouldn't the drt be perfect for any body of water?

Free help is good help 🤣🤣 my wife is the one who films... I've never claimed my content was high quality, just straight to the point, no frills. I've always been turned off by youtubers who make videos that are 10 mins of fluff and 30 seconds of good content.
