Used to wear vanquisher 2.0 + for the longest time (great comfort, only thing was the straps kept breaking, and the part that held the nose piece). At first I was hesitant about Arena Cobras (felt too close to the eye initially), but really grew to love them. Keep up the great content Sonny!

Thanks. Great video. I get the feeling I might refer back to this when ordering the next pair of goggles. I currently have the arena cobra ultra swipe for racing but I need to tighten them too much to stop leaks so too uncomfortable for training. I use the zoggs podium for training. Seriously comfortable, seal really well with very little pressure. Anti‐fog is useless on them so they need spray from the start.

I am in the 'you're not bad for a lap swimmer' level, and old, like 71.... Never liked the faceted goggles as they give me double vision. One feature I am curious about is there seem to be a number of goggles that have a string or rubber bands between the goggles. I have always been able to make do with the adjustable bridge pieces and use the biggest one, but the solid ones don't fit me. Any particular advantages to the adjustable ones?

Dang this is my favorite video of yours! I think that my personal favorite are the hyper elites because they look cool and feel amazing. I also tried MP goggles and the anti-fog is by far the worst with those. Thanks again, Sonny!

I have a humpbacked nose and have trouble to find goggles that would fit my face without being painful to my nose. Right now I'm trying the Arena Cobra Tri Swipe but the nose bridge is still little too low (or has too shallow curve) and causes pain. I ended up removing the factory nose bridge and used a piece of rubber band which I tied (like Swiss goggles) but it's not that great either after several minutes in the water. Are there any goggles with very high/curved nose bridge? I haven't tried the Swedix as I'm afraid they will be to hard for my eye sockets.

I used vanquisher 2.0 for about a decade and finally switched to tyr Blackhawk and couldn't be happier. The little plastic piece on the back of the straps would always break on the vanquishers. And I loved the fit of the vanquishers but the Blackhawks feel exactly the same.

tyr blackhawks are really good for their price. ive had my pair for almost 2 years and i have had no problems with them. sometimes they fog up and leak water in but the suction is extremely strong so if you keep you goggles on they won't fog up.

I still just love the original cobras. The ultras are too rigid on the plastic, they touch my eyelashes like crazy and they just don't fit my eyes with the teardrop hitting my cheek bone. Classic cobras get plastic that isn't too rigid and also don't have the huge teardrop that dig in.

I'm an old man now but Godfrey goggles were the best to swim races in , I had Speedo to train with. Also had a pair of Diana trunks first ones to be made from paper more the sort of material our new £notes are made from (obviously not ) they were put down as paper trunks 🤣🤣😜💯

Rewatching the video and I'd have to say, after wearing hyper elites for a season (I've had 3 pairs), I can say that the fastkin 3 is by far a better goggle. They have better longevity and have/had a lower price point since you could always find a pair for £25 (hyper elites are £40). Plus the hyper elites are just annoying with that nosebridge coming apart every 5 seconds Edit: I wore fastkin 3s for 5 years and are the only goggle until the hyper elites I ever found comfortable, even after trying cobras, tracer x elites, MP xceeds, MP chronos. Just a shame fastkin 3s are so hard to find now

I have been using Form goggles for the past 2 years, and they are not distracting at all. U just have to stay focus. I think form is more for Open Water than pool swim.

They didn't even have an open water function when I reviewed but in sure they are handy for that

I had Arena Python - nice look, but not comfortable for me. Now I'm use MadWave TurboRacer II (looks like goggles from category "make my eyes bleeding"), nice for the starts. I want to try arena cobra and tyr tracer-x elite, but it's very expensive.
