An interesting tidbit I learned just last night: Alcatraz was the ONLY prison in the US where the inmates had to take hot showers. The reason? They didn't want them to get used to the cold water to discourage them from trying to escape that way.

Interesting that Jess thought it looked like Hawaii ...what if I told you it was part of Hawaii 14000 years ago? It was part of what was known as the continent of Lemuria that sank beneath the waves. It is said that over 300 million people lost their lives in that great tragedy. Humanity is still transmuting the trauma of what happened. 2000 years later Atlantis sank so they say. Atlantis and Lemuria were at war and because of the detriment those wars created, great tragedy occurred. Many will say this is speculation, but who knows for sure? The Earth has changed many times over and no doubt it will again. The African continent sank also 50000 years ago due to wars among the people of the Sahara, which was once a flourishing civilization. Scientists are discovering ocean fossils there to this day. It is soooooo easy for me to fly to NZ. Just a quick hop to LA and then catch Air NZ across the water.... And herein lies the problem. I am worried flying for all those hours over water. I feel so much safer flying over land and a little bit of water... LOL But next year I really should do it. If I keep saving my miles, I will get a free flight!!

Jess has the EXACT same fear! She is okay flying over land, but when it comes to large open water she freaks out! Sometimes you just have to not let fear stop you from doing what you want to do!

We got the new Mavic Air. For the flight more package it came to $1400US. We are going to do a video on it to see if it is worth getting or not to help you guys out!!! We previously had the Mavic Pro which we LOVED! So lets see how this one holds up!
