I think "rag time" when I hear the piano in the hook. Whatever it is, I fekkin LOVE it. This is one of my favorites (which doesn't mean much since most of Ren's songs are "one of my favorites" 😋) I got 2 non-rap listeners into Ren with this song... One by one, they'll all succumb **evil laugh** 😈

Not surprising you missed it in Rens Sea of back catalogue, most of what we're hearing is Rens old stuff, he's only written a handful of new stuff to complete the Sick Boi album ready for when he is in Canada getting his treatment, but on the plus side while he's in Canada he can pop down to the U.S and visit some awesome people that he's gonna collab with and others that need lifting like ships on a rising tide.

I love the singing in Ocean. I'm not really a hip hop fan, but I followed Ren into his rap. So I really like the rap songs like this that also have singing. Hope your football team did/does well today. What school do you follow? I know you're from Cali, so don't hate, but I lived in Nebraska back in the late 1970s when they were a powerhouse. Been in Colorado now for 40 years and the Buffs might have something with Coach Prime (Sanders).
